would be nice to have a stats page with info like number of runs, total floors played, total time wasted, maximum damage, monsters killed, items collected etc etc. would make that feelgood glow after beating the somewhat mediocre shopkeeper that much better =p awesome game btw 5/5

I just wish I couldve bought stat crystals at shops, or leveled up or something. I found too few of some and an over abundance of others.

wow finally completed the game with overwhelming satisfaction. although could have been better if i had better odds with the assassin amulet. 5/5

@UeberBob: No, its quiet easy :) just invest in heal potions at every shop and then its no big deal to get to the 100th floor

@bob - Sure you read it right? Cause I didn't have any problems like that. Though the amulet of riches often failed to give me 125% of the normal gold from creatures.
Did anybody else find it ridiculously easy? I winged out once at level 8, then went straight to the bottom. Just wondering if that's a common thing or if I got really lucky on items and what-not.

Maybe you could add another achievement: One-Way Adventurer. Kill the shopkeeper without using your escape wings once.

I hate the save system. You should be able to start/load from the last time you've saved. Other than, it's a pretty good game.

oh look, I was wrong. I used the wings the last time somewhere in the 20s. And just reaching a shop does not save your position, no, you gotta use the wings, despite of what the game tells you every time you reach a new shop. In short: I was in level 97 and would now have to begin again in level 9. level fvcking 9. If I could, I would rate this thing with a -2

OK, now I'm pissed. I used the wings the last time in level 44 or so because it doesn't save your items, only artifacts. I was in level 97 (97 FFS!) and got killed. that means I would have to start from level 89 with no heal spells, nearly no items beside the artifacts gathered at level 44, no money because all was used on level 89 for healing stuff and no potions. I would be better off starting from level 39 again! either implement an auto-save in the shop or let us keep all items with the wings. preferably both. until then, fvck this game. 1/5

dunno, what ya mean. it saves the game, when ya port out by using that wings, which u can find in chests. then it saves your stats and only the magic yellow stuff. NOT the normal items. these u better sell, before porting out ;)

you should really just heal when you visit the shop. I only once ever found a healing potion on the map and the merchant only sells one. I never found a healing spell or anything. so that means even after I visited the shop, I probably have to take on the following 10 levels with a mere 120 HP and I probably just have to use the wings over and over again without buying anything until I have nough money for the healing potions and a complete set of equipment.
you also should not lose your equipment when using the wings, that just sucks.
@nbear1: after you found the wings, use them by dragging them onto your character before you die. The effect is the same as if you would die (e.g. back to the title screen and starting at the last shop again) but your artifacts will stay.

love the game play, most annoying, badly written, save system i have ever seen. Why? you can get down to level 90+ almost to the end (sorry it was a grind) and have your browser crash. come back youre still on level 79 but you have starting stats and newbi equipment. seriously wtf

Am I the only one who cannot go beyond the 18th level? no potion around, if I buy one then I can't buy anything else.and with the escape wing it just starts from the beginning...
This game could be better if the escape wings take you to the shopkeeper's floor.

Amazing game but got a bit easy near the end, assassin necklace took care of everything so i just focused on agility.

First I was depressed because my Broadsword dissapeared after using Escape Wings, and then I found Rock Smasher, good times... good times. Only complaint is that equipment makes the game, I mean if you're truly a badass, you should be able to take down stuff with just a dagger, and not let your sword do all the work for you. Very repetative and I dislike the eyes because I dont really care for checking my enemies stats, but still a good game 4/5.

For maddox91: What escape wings does is boost your stats depending on what you have done, and sends you back to the beginning with any artifacts you had. You click new game, not load game to get this.

WTF?! I reached level 50 and died then it shoots me back to floor 1? Screw that this game's too repetative.
It's a good game but thats a serious flaw, also when you reach the shop keeper you should be able to regenerate all your hp and mp.
4/5 Love the simplicity of it, but it's too much work to keep having to get all your hard earned armour and weapons back
