This game can be really frustrating to get started at times, but for the most part after the first 30-40 levels you can just sail through.

i just noticed this, if you click on a red or gold box it will tell you what it contains, you probably need an eye for this (i have them all) this is the same with money bags, if you need an eye i would assume it would be the eye of wealth, this helped me pass into lv 89 because there was a box containing a "consumable item"

Wow! took me a while but I finally beat the whole game and got all the badges and card! This Game rocks! Hope maybe if there's a sequel being made or a better game from this guy! 8/10

In response to omg's comment, I like to think all the merchants are identical twins/triplets/whatever applies to the number of them.

Phew, took awhile to get past everything. Had to escape several times before I could push any deeper, but I got to the bottom and beat it. And I only used healing spells, so call me the Paladin. 5/5 for a very well thought out game, even for your first flash submission.

WOW I went from floor 68 to floor 9, first sight of the golem and I didnt think it could bring me down 400 health! Golems are VERY STRONG!

Sorry to double comment, but I just realized, If spells are considered artifacts, why do they not count towards your artifacts in the Hack 'n Stash badge?

Too easy. Just had to leave the dungeon twice with the wings before getting to the final boss (which didn't even require me to heal). However I like the design and hope for a better sequel. Unlike some of you, I did use the magic and found that it really helped in the upper levels to knock the monsters down so that the auto attack could kill with one strike or two at the most.

This is a wonderful game, with 2 caveats:
1.) No Fake Walls, like in the FF5 game, which this resembles more than a little, to get the gems and monsters you can see in the rooms you can't get to.
2.) Chests/Bags don't disappear once emptied, and monsters hide behind them!
Otherwise, top shelf all the way!

As I see it, a pro player knows how to be responsible about his health bar. A responsible player watches his health bar. If you run out of potions, try to hold it up long enough to reach the next shop and buy some potions and even some ethers (but only if you have the heal spells). If you cant hold your life, if you hit 50 and you dont have any potions, and you have less than 25 MP and no ethers, or no heal spells even, gtfo of the tower. Take what you got and get the hell out. You'll keep all the artifacts you found, as well as all the money.

There's nothing more satisfying than facing an enemy you've never seen before and One Hit it. Unless of course you find some really awesome artifact ^_~

DustinAUX! The only problem I see is that unless I get some really good artifacts before I die there is no way to win. Reviving at level 19 or 29 with basic level 10 stuff is not good enough. First time through im taking 9 or less dmg from a skeleton, revive and im taking 30 again.

Wildkatz, it says NEXT to last shop. You need to get to the 29 shop to use the 9 restart point. 39 to use 19 and so on. It is working just fine. And yes ADD MORE POTIONS.

I pretty much agree with Gigiya, i didnt use any spells all game apart from healing. Aswell as this the game waas only hard for the first 20 stages, after that really easy. Boss was easy and after you beat him you get a sword but lose all your items which arent artifacts? There is also nothing else to do after this.

3.5/5 fun but dieing and having to restart from your last save really ruined it for me :X got to 90th floor, died and got sent back to the 39th >.> a checkpoint save would make it 5/5 for me.

finally got a spell, had to go all the way to floor 25! anyways the spells are artifacts, they stay with you the next time u try to get to the bottom floor. to reach floor 20, simply take the fastest route that doesn't have monsters on the way, or with weak monsters. if you see a gold chest i suggest getting it and gems if there are 1 monster away from you. when you get to the store on floor 9 and 19 bought potions that heal you. to use potions and the wings, simply just drag them onto your person, WARNING: you can NOT use potions or the wings while in combat. and to use a spell, be in combat and drag the spell you want to use onto your enemy. KEEP THIS COMMENT ALIVE!!!!!!!!!!

how to heal yourself? the potions are extremely expensive. I've found two amulets of fright worth 1000 for one very early (like 5-8 floor) and its still hard. and it's bad that you don't lvl up, then there's no point in fighting

one thing about this game how do you get the chests on the levels with the shop keepers on other than that and the lack of hotkeys for the magic a great game

@mistakern: Use the escape wings and you can escape with all your artifacts, die and you get nothing from what you did in that quest.

Good game. However it is far too easy. Completed it within hours. The original ancient cave in the Lufia games took me months. Also the fact the enemies are not moving makes it way too easy to avoid them.

Playing this game, I found it hard to look away. Addicting indeed. It has that element of Mystery Dungeon like spartan said, and that sort of dungeons and dragons feel to it that I love. Awesome.

This game is awsome! it really reminds me of games like pokemon mystery dungeon! i LOVE how you only keep artifacts if you escape because it makes you want to get as far down as posible and escape at the last second! 5/5!

I love it. Potions were hard to get (which I like), money comes slowly only at first, it's easy to just play for a few minutes and come back later, the eye's were a great idea (I always hated having to use a spell to see monsters' stats), keeping artifacts was a fun idea and makes replay fun also, |||||spoiler|||||the merchant being the boss was a nice touch (after getting the blade of the chosen I wanted more end-game equips)|||||/spoiler|||||. But the magic ~was~ a little blah. If you could use the spells on the monsters without having to fight them then I would have like it a lot more. The elements I didn't even use either. My favorite thing was the stat gems and the fact that you could keep getting them fairly easily if you spent the time. 4.9/5 Only because the magic was a little lacking.
