great game, only thing I would add is a save point savepoint so if you die while on level seventy it doesn't send you back to the first time you reached level 19. Otherwise Great job! one of the best and most addictive games here, keep up the good work.

CONTINUED: I'd like a better balance of restarting: I gave up a *lot* of resources in order to guarantee a level-89 restart before I took on the final boss. Make the boss harder to beat, but let me keep more of the stuff I've accumulated. For instance, give me hot keys or a time-stop so I can micro-manage the encounter -- but up the ante, such as letting two of the minions attack me at once. /// Get a consistent philosophy for the game mechanics, and make them more than mere stats. 100 level of what is basically hack-and-slash is pretty boring. I didn't have to learn about most of the mechanics to survive, and what I did learn was merely numbers, not any particular understanding of how your world works. For the most part, I simply collected crap, closed my eyes, and swung the best sword I could find. That and healing potions were enough to win. Brains of Conan will handle the entire game.

Okay, you got sufficient graphics and the beta level of the game design is viable. You got good variety in the level layouts. It's time to think about the long-range playability and do the real version 1.0.
Keeping balance in the game's playability is difficult; you made a very good first approximation. Overall, magic just isn't worth the time and effort spent on it. Once I got to a decent level of attack, it just wasn't worth losing initiative or an attack round to cast a spell, since I offed my opponent in 2 rounds. The mana was essentially wasted. /// What is the purpose of "artifact" status? Sure, I get to keep the item when I escape -- but by the time I hit level 50, about half the artifacts have been superseded by mundane treasures. Perhaps the artifact should have some unique capability, such as double damage against dragons, or drawing 1/4 of a humanoid opponent's agility to me for the battle.

I like it. I think an Artifact Guide would be nice too. That way you could see what artifacts you collected and see how many artifacts you hadn't collected yet.

u know wat wat this game is good. 5/5. but u know wat pisses me off...the fact that its one of those games where every now and then the keys stick. now i didnt mind this, until i was on floor 89,11 floors from the boss, and my caracter kept walking right into a golem that i was gonna walk around and i had low hp so i died. then when i went back to start a new quest it made me start all the fricking way back at floor 39. so the way i c it is that this game made me waste 3 1/2 hours on a hard badge to push me back almost to the begining and say f*** u

Good game but way too easy. Only the first 20 floors are hard after that you have enough money to endlessly stock up on potions and any items you need you get from chests. Also the 'Boss' is so easy. On my first attempt at him I assainated the first 4 monsters protecting him and 2 hit killed the last. The Boss has really bad stats his attack (132) is worse than a Golem's (150), his defense (96) is the lowest in the last 20 floors. His agility (14) is lower than a Baby Dragons (17) and his magic attack is high. Unfortunately no enemies use magic so his one good stat is useless. Finally by the time you get to him you should have 200+ attack and defence and 25+ agility and with these stats he is easy to defeat.

Under rating threshold (hideshow) That shopkeeper must kick serious ass in order for him to beat me down every ten levels. Is there an elevator I don't know about?

continuing:
after you see the first Blood Bones(floor 95) you find that the number of monsters increases until floor 190 and it will be putting more Baby Dragons and Golems(biggest attacks, what makes the golem INVINCIBLE and defenses, including health, big on the golem) until floor 285 and will remove baby dragons every floor more until floor 380. after that, the walk road increases 4 times faster. every floor, it increases your attack by 3, defense by 5, intelligence by 2, agility by 1, elemental attack and defense by 2 each one. i will increase the cap of elemental stats of 100 to 300. the rest is to you DustinAux!

you made a idle game idea! The enchanted cave idle(like The quest for idle). put half (or all of them, if you want to lose time) of all items in the shop; put a man like the enchanted cave boy; a big path with monsters, different, stronger and quicker after every stage(floor), put treasure chests(red for boots, yellow for weapons, green for armors, blue for gloves/gaunlets, purples for hats/helmets or helms/bandanna and orange to leggings), add stairs after a small walk(bigger every floor) to change you of floor, and the artifacts are enable to buy(20 times it real cost) and found of ~3% of the treasure chests.

This game is obviously model'd after a game called "Tibia" check it out and you'll agree.
An excellent first effort tho! 4/5

I must give him props for his games. It's good and fun, great Weapons...different Pick ups...teasure...monsters...Only Issue is that
YOU DON'T HAVE YOUR STUFF IF YOU USE YOUR WINGS
other than that...it's great game

good overall game, my only problem is that i want an auto pilot, click and character goes in straightest line to that point, battling anything in the way.

i gave up at around the 39-49th floor on my first 2 tries. then got to 69 on my 3rd. then 100 on my 4th. really not too hard.

Ok this is were i stop playing. I have Full Artifact items, and i am sure i own every Artifact item in the game. Currently using: Titanium full helm, Wizard Plate Armor, Gladiator Gauntlets, Titanium Shield, Titanium boots, Titanium Leg plates, Gamblers Amulet, Blade of the Chosen, 2 x Mega rings. This is the ultimate build. Capable of hitting 600+ damage. 1011hp, 255mp, 284 attack, 410 def, 64 magic, 46 speed, +16 to all magical attacks, +51 ~ +100 (cap) in all magical def. This is ultimate setup, and is proberly the best item setup in the game.

Very good game, The teleporting outside so the Artifacts count goes up was stupid. To make the game easier, try not to reset the dungeon, just keep running through, selling everything you get. Collecting all the "eyes" should have been apart of an achievement in my opinion. Nicely made game, currently running through the dungeons again collecting all the eyes, to gain the last medals.

I liked this game a lot, as I love roguelikes. Varied backgrounds, enemies, and gear were excellent, music was good, and the graphics were about as complex as I'd like to see for a game like this. A few comments: Challenge - I didn't die once; only for the first 30 floors or so was it challenging to stay alive, and that was more hoping to find potions than the game being hard. I know luck is a huge aspect of roguelikes, but I think it could be improved. Magic - I didn't use a spell the entire game besides healing. There's no time to do so when I don't think a single battle lasted more than five rounds. Most were over in 3, Elemental defense - why give equipment elem. defense levels higher than 100 if they're just going to be capped? Inventory - selling things was tedious, instant selling via shift-clicking should be allowed. Another alternative would be assigning a junk category that auto-sells. Ending - boss was way too weak, and the game just hangs after killing him? Disappointing.

Awright man, speed is completely pointless past a certain point. I fought a golem- who I recently found out has 6 speed- when I had 49 and we still exchanged blows with barely any difference. He got 2 hits in, I got 3. If I can't hit someone twice as fast as they hit me when my speed is 8 TIMES THEIRS, something is seriously wrong.
Now that I'm over the venting, 5/5. Awesome first game man.

i loved it there is one bad thing. u do have to rely on chest to give u good items other wise ur dead in a few more floors but other than that that game is one of my favs if u agreee = it

The eye of wealth may have a glitch, As in one said it had a consumable item in one chest and there was helmet in it.

i love this game pwned all 100 floors i wish tho that your character would be able to lvl up that way ur not all dependent on just ur weapons if you agree gimme a pluse

if i use escape wings on floor 81 then i have to start on floor 69 with 36 attack? The first enemy killed me im that weak

ok for those trying to get the shadow hunter trophie. You need the ninja necklace (this is an artifact) It gives a 10% chance of insta kill when equipped. Equip it, then go and keep killing in the normal way and you will get the shadow hunter trophie eventually.

I think you need to make the second part of this game, with ability to import your character from this one. Or just make additional levels and artifacts
Game is very nice, I completed it 5 times.
As for me it is a small Diablo Hellfire. (Starting new game with all your stuff and money from previous one)
5/5

they should add more diference in the enemys..yes they keep getting stronger and might all have elements but there all going down in 1/2 hits.... you might want to make some units that hit much higher but are killed very fast also or units that have a huge defence but weak attack
