If you get to a shop and know you won't make it the next 10 floors to another shop, consider selling everything that's not an artifact and use the wings - you'll make a bunch of money that you'll start with on your next game. Awesome game!

lol this is very easy, just time consuming. Some tips:
1.Get attack- the most powerful defense is a powerful offense, insta-kill enemies and you don't get attacked back. DON'T BE A CASTER. With enough attack power, you should be able to down monsters in 1-2 hits
2. Get ALL the potions you can buy
3. Try to get ALL the chests
4. Find the best route to encounter as little enemies as possible
5. Remember what enemies you can insta-kill, and try to kill those first
6. Don't worry too much about gold after lvl 40ish, you will have tons from the crap items you sell.
7. DO NOT buy ANYTHING EXCEPT potions and the most powerful sword WHEN you get to around lvl 59, everything he sells is dropped
8. ALWAYS KEEP AN EYE ON YOUR HP AND KNOW HOW HARD THE MONSTERS HIT.
9. NEVER use your health potions if you will overheal.

Tip: T he amount of coins you have when you leave a dungeon via the wings will be the amount you start with next time. So if you know you're not going to make it very far consider not spending many coins, so you'll have them to start with next round.

@Kawa: just drag the Escape Wings to your character and there should a line of text which hovers over the character saying "use the Escape Wings".

@davidfague, you drag the spell you get from golden chests onto your avatar when you are in combat, or if its a healing spell, anytime. Same goes for potions.

To use the wings, just drag them onto your character. Personally I saw the ending coming but still ... its much like the US selling arms to foreign countries who they will later on have to fight ...

The music that plays on the shop floors are from the (arguably)old computer game: Bugs Bunny and Taz Time Busters. Anyone else recognize it?

To those complaining about magic:
I've found a simple way of using magic in battle, even making it your first strike.
It's simple, really. Just click the magic and drag it over your character. You can still walk around while holding down the left click, and the moment you get in battle, you can release it and make it your first strike.
I know this doesn't fix the issue, but at the very least, it makes it a little easier.

It really doesn't help when you bail out, lose your non-artifact equipment, and lose within two tries to things you were killing easily before.. and you're broke.

i was on the floor 75 when my computer freezed. I press the reset button, and now i am at lvl 69 but with the items from the last save (lvl 29)...

I was on floor 86; I had 53 H.P. left and I wasn't paying attetion since I go around killing everything in one hit, and I died to a Baby Dragon. Nothing against this game, but... I'm never playing this again, especially since I hadn't escaped the entire time, so now, if I try to continue on floor 69, I have to start on floor 1. 5/5 Nice game, though it needs hotkeys or one-click use for spells.

Its not even half the challenge of the cave of the ancients but its nonetheless a really good game. I liked every minute of it. Keep up the good work! What i really liked was the Assassins Charm. Its like playing russian roulette with your enemies. xD

i loved this game and i had trouble at the begining but once i got to lvl 30 i stoped dying and i made it to the 87 lvl in one go and i accidently died and then i got sent back to lvl 9 and all my items were reset to the last time i died

A kid walks into a cave for no reason at all, finds a merchant inside, kills slime for gold, learns spells from chests, then... no spoilers ;)

No way to heal in dungeon. Too few and excessively expensive heal potions in the shop. 350 gold to heal 100 hp when you can expect to have 300 damage done to you before getting to the first shop, then he only has 2 of the potions. Rated 2 stars... almost gave it 1.
