Great game! But 2 things that could be added:
1. When you equip a weapon/armour etc. Your character will have that item on them, so your apperance changes.
2. When you are about to go down a floor you should be asked if you want to continue. I lose alot of chests by accidently going down a floor.
Enchanted Cave 2 :)

Just some quick tips: 1. Make sure to not sell artifacts unless you find another artifact that's better 2. Don't buy potions unless you think you can make it to the next shop because it's better to save the gold and make one big push. 3. During the later levels (60-100) make sure to have at least 2potions on you and don't leave without full health, if you can't afford two potions it's best to sell your non-artifact items and use your wings.

Can't beat a high dps when you've got the three healing spells. Every enemy you can one-hit is another point towards your next heal, use items to tide you over until then.

Mmk. So, I just bought 2 small health potions and 2 medium health potions. I make the transaction, go to use a small on, and instead of potions, I have two hardened leather gloves and two silver plate legs. I go back to the shop, and there are no potions. I mean, teh f*ck? What's up with that?

I think you mean Rock Smasher Shellgon. Another thing that you want to add to that list is the Eye of Wealth. It is invaluable being able to see what's in bags and chests. It can save you so much HP by not having to fight enemies just for a terrible item.

I played this back when I first signed up. I must have hated it because I rated it a 1. I have no idea how I could have. This game is amazing. It is very annoying to have to start over and loose all your equipment, but being able to keep artifacts and stat gems, AND being able to start in lower shops when you reach them helps a lot. Plus I just love that shopkeeper. The way he looks so bored. His greeting of "Can I get you any supplies?. I just wanna hang out with him. Although the way he teases me with all those stat gems and chests isn't cool...

@whitebeast15 what u would say, is keep going to floor 9 sell everything (even your equips) but not the artifect armor/weapon. also venture to 10-19 if you wish, but before floor 20 MAKE SURE you have gotten pleanty of stat crystals, you have the rock crusher (rare artifact, +50 dmg.) and brass knuckles. also make sure you have 15,000 it should last the whole game if you only buy potions and THE BEST SWORD that gives the most dmg. make sure you get a lot of mana crystals so you can use the heals too. best of luck to you!

Is there some way you can start out at an earlier floor? I would love it to start back at the first floor and gain some good equipement before exploring the deeper parts.

I found the final boss a little anti-climactic. After spending 12 grand on the best items in the shop, I fight this puny 4,000 hp boss who hits for about 50. I didn't use a single one my 8 large potions. Maybe add an optional superboss?

I noticed that as I got to higher levels, I would die or use escape wings and be faced with difficult monsters (since shopkeeper levels are checkpoints). If you would like to have a stronger warrior as you get up to these levels, you can keep fighting and get as many artifacts, stat boosts, etc. as possible until level 8, then use escape wings. The more you do this, the stronger you will be at later levels, and it'll be easier to fight the harder monsters at later shopkeeper checkpoints.

Awesome game, without a doubt. :) (5/5) Lufia II was one of my favorite games on the SNES, and this did an amazing job of reminding me of those Lufia days. :) Enjoyed it very much. I especially like the battle concept. It's a time saver compared to the Lufia and FF style of battle, where you zoom in and out of another screen to battle monsters, then wait for the dialog box to tell you that you won, and watch your players dancing to the fanfare. Engage battle, win, continue onwards. Nice and simple. :) Though, right now, in the Enchanted Cave, it seems that there's really not much point in fighting any of the monsters at all, unless they're blocking your way. Other than that, battles are just a waste of time and HP. I avoid them unless they're blocking my path or a treasure chest. Though if I can get a one-hit kill, I don't mind clearing the monsters just for the sake of it.

Great Game! 5/5 I completed it in 2hours and 18minutes... I completed it on my third run... i have all medals except three eyes and "200" and "300" floors. I got 4 elemental spells and mega heal.

Got pretty far with apparently a very powerful non-artifact sword, which resulted in almost immediate panic when I have to retreat and find I'm stuck on a high floor without the damage dealing power to deal with the enemies lol

Is there gonna be a game similar to this because i keep starting over again, ive passed this game 4 times now hahaha I love this game

If you think this games too easy after a few runs, try going with only magic, or wearing only warrior items, or only thief items, use your choices ;)

Definitely an enjoyable and very nostalgic game. Somewhat easier than I would want, but this was definitely a fun play. My main qualms are A. what rmcd said about the difficulty in casting and B. graphics make it slightly hard to see where your guy is at any time.
Regardless, this has been an elegantly done, very oldschool style game
