Enjoying it, especially once I got about 20 levels in. The only annoying thing is having to use keys for movement, surely using the mouse for everything would be better.

What the hell man...I was at lvl 79 and saved so I could go do something. When I came back there was no data and im on lvl 1 again..Sigh

Hey, uh, some one left a bunch of chests and crystals and sacks down here! I mean really, what would some on keep in these... ooh, ANGEL WINGS! *puts wings on back* FLY! *5 seconds later* Wait, did I just fly straight through 36 layers of solid rock? AWWW YEAAAH! Wait, wheres all my stuff? All I have are these creepy eyes and that ring I found in that gold chest..... Maybe I could get some cash off these eyes for some equipment!

its never too bad to check a chest. Even if it was guarded by something hard, it could weild something AWESOME! Like once i think a mad bat or red goo or something was guarding this chest and inside was a health potion that i had needed dearly. i was like, 'Jackpot!"

I got to floor 96 and still had 4 large health potions left but wasn't watching my health bar and died. Now I have to start all over. Oh yeah, and I didn't ever use the wings of flights so I don't get any artifacts out of it either. I wish there was a save option so you could redo a fluke like that. That was just unfair.

Alright, found it on the boards. Thanks to Xentos! It's the Eye of Wealth. That does it. That should put some HEAVY variance on the later challenges I wanted to do, when spells become ever more important. Either get that eye or literally play "blind".

Ok, now I see...I am at another machine now, playing the game here. Now it doesn't work. The chests don't show anything but a generic "consumable or equipment". At the other game, I can see the item class, based on which slot it uses or consumable or spell. I guess I must have an item in the game on the other machine, which does it. Neat. I suspect it is one of the eyes, because I got tons of them in that run. I will try to figure out what it is and report back. I keep learning, here!

...just because there could have been a potion in it or - most importantly - a healing spell. I still use healing whenever I can in the current challenge. Next one, I will not use any potions, so it's vital that I find those spells soon, then.

@Mageofcats I am not sure, if you are responding to me...you should do it like I just did and address somebody. Just in case you were talking to me: 1) No, the game is easy if you use everything it offers, especially if you sell items. But I'm running a bunch of challenges, taking away one advantage in the game for each one. Right now, I am not selling items and not grabbing money bags. I get gold through battles, only. It was still not that hard, if I hadn't screwed it up... 2) Like I said, chests tell you "what kind" of treasure is in there...consumables, weapons, and so on That helps a lot with planning. I used to open all chests I could reach by taking 20-40 dmg (depending on level) from one monster per chest.

When you click on chests it does not show what they have. What are you thinking? I've tried it and it doesn't work for any container. It just says 'contains a consumable item or equipment' or something like that. The artifact chests are no better.

My awards are broken, I've done 331 damage in a hit but it says all I did was 61. Yes, in a SINGLE hit, not multiple, so I'm not ranting about nothing. And, I have 20 some-odd artifacts but it says I only have 3. Yes, I do understand that artifacts are within yellow chests and have yellow backgrounds.

Wait... you can click on chests?
Wow...
I was thinking to myself how that guy up there knew what was in the Merchant's chests.
Oh, and I also think magic is hard to use in battle.
When you 'level' your intelligence, two things, 1) the cost of the spell should go down a bit (less and less as it gets closer to 0) and 2) they should become castable in shorter times!

Really?
I truly like this game, and no, it is not too hard. On my third run I got to level 97 with 273 AT and 354 or so defense.
I'm just saying it's not THAT hard!
4.5/5

How long did it take you, until you noticed that you can click the chests and it tells you what kind of treasure is in there? Wow. I feel stupid, now. I can now go mostly for weapons and consumables and those important healing spells. That should make it a lot easier. Especially since...I messed up the challenge. Forgot to save and just closed the browser. I was in the 70's with at least 1 big health potion, now back to 59...just great. =( Guess now I have to add a "couple" more wings to this thing. *sigh*

So...people didn't like me commenting on my latest run that I got 5 eyes out of 7 artifacts. I got 3 more. :D That's 8/10 artifacts, nothing but eyes. I wouldn't call it too unlucky, though. I got swords after that, which helps A LOT with this challenge. Barely playing atm, 6 wings, back at shop lvl 39. For those, who don't hate me saying this. ;) It's very hard at first to break the habit of getting those money bags...immediately screwed up by getting the very first bag and restarted. --- I LOVE this game now. It really lends itself to starting those kinds of challenges.

There should be a boss on the last floor of a dungeon "type". You know, when the tileset changes, and when different monsters start to appear. Like... A Goblin King in dungeon type 1, a Superior Cave Man in dungeon type 2, and so on. And, the boss floor would only have monsters that are related to the boss. Like there only being Goblins on the Goblin King's floor. Oh, and, a boss wouldn't appear on floor 98. Because, you know...

Beat it on my second run into the dungeon somehow.
Large health pots were dropping like crazy from level 80+ so that certainly helped. My method was equipping items with as much agility as possible (assassin items, especially those wonderful rings later on) and attack. Just be sure not to sacrifice too much defense for the sake of a couple agility points. Spending mana potions wisely to cast mega heal was a must as well. Killed the "surprise" boss with 5 large health pots and 2 large mana pots to spare! :)
Well made flash game by the developer, had a lot of fun!

The game should go back to the menu screen after the "Game Over" thing appears, so the players won't have to refresh the page.

Wow, unluckiest run so far once the tougher challenges start...5/7 artifacts are eyes. :p Well, at least the broadsword is one of the two useful I got.

Just wanted to add: Not buying stuff other than healing potions is implied for all challenges, of course. True Ancient Cave style. I wasn't sure if I should buy potions every time I'm at a shop, even if it's expected to be a waste, because I won't make it to the next shop, anyway. For the last challenge I opted to not buy a smaller potion, if I almost had the gold to buy a bigger one. I think I will keep it that way, because otherwise, it will take forever and waste tons of gold.

This game is WAYYYY too easy... I finished it on my second attempt...
Maybe I just got extremely lucky or something... but didn't feel like it.
Just buy all the potions you can, and you'll be fine. And don't use magic (except heal).

Finished special run #3, selling no items. With 9 wings...just barely! I had 14hp left after the boss. Just took the chance, wasn't going to wing out another time. One more hit and it would have been game over...whew! It got quite tough when I had to escape for the 5th time with tons of stuff on level 9x. Took 4 wings just to get powerful enough to get to the last shop. That was a lot of fun planning. Already needed a lot of heal, because I was running low on potions. It was already pretty important to kill all one-hit-dead enemies (Ninja knife ftw!) for that extra gold. Next one is gonna be much harder, NO money bags. That means getting strong enough to one-shot-kill enemies. Probably going to take 20+ wings. :D

how to get "power plunderer" achievement?
i already in my 2nd play, got plenty of artifact (equipment)
but still no achievement

I got into this game again. It is very easy to beat the usual way. The secret is to create your own challenges. Then it becomes a fun strategy game 1) a run based on speed, which broke towards the finish line, because I had to escape and lost all the speed items and never got the really good ones 2) only sell duplicate items, took 3 wings 3) sell NO items...that's the run I am at, right now...just used the 3rd wings on level 54 --- So, future runs: 4) like 3 and NO money bags 5) like 4 and NO potions whatsoever 6) like 5 and NO heal...well, that one's probably gonna take a while... 7) finally, a mage with no restrictions (yeah, I don't like the mage in this game) 8) die on purpose every level prior to the next shop 9) forced to collect every gem on a level

I've prepared for the final boss. OK, I have all the best stuff, 4 super healing potions, 2 super mana potions, and 5/4 health from the other monsters. Bring it!!!! 5 seconds later..... OK, after the battle I have all the best stuff, 4 super healing potions, 2 super mana potions, and 3/4 health. Wait what??? Did I just fight the boss or just another dungeon monster?
