Fun game, but gets repetitive.. Perhaps I would continue if badges were added for this game. Thumbs up if you like the idea.

Got to the very end and then the game was taken off the site...at least my save file was kept...oh wait it wasnt. amusing but not enough to warrent playing it all over again

That shopkeeper must kick serious ass in order for him to beat me down every ten levels. Is there an elevator I don't know about?

Good game however I had a few bugs:
- the character is moving randomly (I had to wait for a couple of minutes before I was able to move again) so it happened that I died in a room without touching the keyboard.
- the exit to title button removes the last saved data... (that is why I have never reached the boss).
- the instant kill pendant did not work for more than 50 monsters. I had to remove and add it several times before it took it into account.
Yet I had some good time, what about a new version with several difficulties?

Very cool game, but I've got a bug report: I just hit a map that doesn't have exit stairs. Don't know if there's some sort of bug report forum or some unique ID hidden somewhere...

fun game very well done... artifacts seem pretty useless. and a little on the easy side (dont bother goin for the gold bags and i made it to 100 in one go) other then that it was good

Tip to the developer (on the offchance s/he or any of them read this): give us the escape wings naturally, once you get going they're so easy to find that it's just a wasted chest pretty much.

@ryan007008 The medals are viewable from the main screen (where you choose new/load). Click the small golden chalice on the rock that says The Enchanted Cave.

Another helpful tip, the gem screen should have some kind of label for all the different gems. We can't tell what gem does what. Its as if we have to learn them before even playing the game. Keep up the good work!

HOOOOW the hell is this game rated so high. It's terribly boring! Absolutely 0 skill whatsoever. Beat it straight through, never used wings. You just equip the obvious best items you find. No skills at all, magic is completely completely worthless except for the heals (which I didn't get in my random chests until the lvl 80s).

Went from floor 1 - 98 with no trouble, then a golem killed mewhile trying to heal. magic/potions are glitchy to use, sometimes (and most often) they dont work on the first drag attempt. So uh, yeah, i died. and i now have NOTHING on floor 79, not even any gold and unable to kill a monster. Can you make an option if you die to go BACK to previous shop floors? Instead of me having to respend around 6 hours of my life again? And that chance you are fudged if this happens?
Great game btw, looking foward to an upgraded more balance version :D

There is a small glitch, Its not game ruining but its a little bit annoying. If you pick up any of the healing spells (I'm not sure if its the same with damage spells) the first time you try to use them they won't work, so you have to go back and pick it up again to use it

Spell interruption is not a new concept. You don't want to waste your mana? Start casting once the mob hits you instead of before. Timing, people, is a very useful talent toi have.

Fun little time waster. Big issue though. My fault that I wasn't paying attention, but I died below level 80. I now respawn on level 69, with 3 artifacts: necklace, gloves, boots. Have basic shirt pants and dagger. Only $429 in gold. Lost most of my spells and artifacts. I can barely buy an adequate sword, but I can't make it through level 70 without dying.

If I could make one and only one suggestion, it would be that the player stars with at least one spell. The MP bar is useless until the random generation system gives you a spell, then heal is so much better than everything else it's pathetic. Otherwise this is a nice simple game. No real whistles or bells, but it doesn't really need them.

Good game but only a few complaints
1. its difficult to use spells in balle cause you have to drag them why not click them and have an option so it doesnt ask you if you want to use it.
2. Last boss.... Too easy, his minions were stronger than him but had less health but its still too easy.

On one hand this game is ok, but it is too much based on luck. At first it seems like in the beginning what you find in the chest may not be so important, but the further you go, the more important those first finds become. That is something that I don't like. It should make it a little harder yes, but for instance if you don't find the healing spell soon enough, you have to skip a lot of monsters, miss a lot of gold and you can't buy the good upgrades to fight the monsters later on. Very annoying to start over again until you get a little lucky.

this game is well made but it has a few bugs when i die after i get to a high lvl shopkeeper i lose all of my items as well as my artifacts.

The only problem I have with this game is gameplay. Walking feels very awkward for some reason, maybe because the screen doesn't move with the character spite, I don't know. Also I would've liked more control during combat. A very compelling game overall though, can't wait until they bring achievements out for this.

So how do you load a saved game? I was playing and got to lvl 40 something then saved. I come back now and the "Load Quest" activates when I mouse over it, but it doesn't do anything when i click it. I then tried "New Quest" thinking that it loaded my data and I just need to click start. But I'm on floor 1, no gear and not in the mood to spend all the time to go back in again...

Fun game. Some suggestions for improvement: Instead of having to drag potions to my character in order for them to be used, why not just allow us to click it and it will automatically use the item. Seems kind of pointless to have to drag it to use it when your character is the only thing the potions work on. Along the same lines, I'd like to see the same thing with magic. We can only use magic on either ourselves (heals) or the monster we are currently fighting, so again it seems rather pointless and tedious to have to drag them around. Have it so that when we click on a spell, we use it on ourselves/the enemy. As it is now I haven't used a single spell other than heals just for that reason as by the time I've dragged a spell over to an enemy it is already dead.

Really, really addictive and well crafted. Although I can't really think of much to improve, I would say a minor detail that could be added is to make your character blink when you first enter a room to locate him easier. But at the same time, this such a minor addition to a game that does exactly what it should that it can be easily overlooked.

oh yea everyone was right about the final boss; its a joke seriously it only has 3K HP! that like nothing with the weapons youll have at that time u dont need to use a single spell also with my equips i only took 60s from him but ive said enough im not saying the name mwahahhahahahahh

Hate to mention this, but this is basically Runescape's Daemonheim without the puzzles. Although I like the simplified idea, its not really conceptual/original, whereas Monster's Den: Book of Dread was. However, you do get points for excellent tutorial.
