Looks like a decent little game, but the save system ruins it. Imagine you want to reach the next floor, but there are still two skellies in the way unavoidably and you are low on health and low on potions, so you will certainly die. Game over, start from the beginning. You would think you can save and go to the shop to buy some potions but the only way to get to the shop is to die and start over. The temporary save option takes you EXACTLY where you are. After you hit the "Save Game" it takes you to the title screen where the only way to visit the shop is to choose "New Game". At least the loading really does works right.

Very nice game, music is nice, not annoying, very soothing. A good, relaxing game. Unless you die. :D Very nice, 5/5.

Ugh, I wish it saved every time you reached a new shop or something. I wasn't paying attention and died so I went from Level 60ish to Level 9 -_- It was my own fault but the fact that I have to basically start over makes me want to just give up.

aw crap, i went from floor 9 to floor 64 (in a row) without using the wings, i had nice equips but...i wasn't looking at my hp...i got killed, lolz... oh well, i'm not repeating, but i still love the game =)

I was doing pretty well. By the time I got into the 60s, I started getting bored. Didn't pay attention to my health. I'm now on floor 9. FFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-

Very good game for the most part. I don't think it's a good idea that spells have to be dragged to your character to be used, though. Also the final boss is a joke if you just get 2 assassin rings; I thought I'd actually have to use a healing spell to beat him. Really my biggest problem was I went from floor 1 to the 80s, used wings, then was too weak for 70s without my items, so I spent most of my time playing grinding there. Rest was easy.

so far im liking this game. it kinda reminds me of shining force or shining in the darkness, which most of you probably know nothing about, its old school.

This game, while not incredibly easy, borderlines on a cakewalk. Although, it's still fun as hell. I would love to see a sequel! 4.5/5

Simple but addicting and well made. Sort of reminds me of the "ancient cave" in an old SNES game, Lufia II. I really liked the simplified battle system, made the normal tediousness of a hack-and-slash much better. Spells and items could be hotkeyed, both are sort of cumbersome to use in battle. As far as balance goes, the difficulty could scale a lot more after around level 50 when you should have picked up a few heal spells, from there to the end I found pretty easy. Same goes for the boss, WAY too easy (didn't even need a potion or a heal spell). Overall though, very nice 4/5.

I love the very simple interface, with the exception of magic. If it wasn't for that, this would be a great game to play laying down while watching TV.

A realistic idea if you are running low on health and are on a shop level is to sell of all items except potions and shiny pretties (i.e. artifacts) As these items will go away when you go to the next floor, however the gold won't.
Another thing to note is spells, if you are holding the spell before combat, you can use it first thing, they can sometimes be better if you need that tiny bit of extra damage against a difficult enemy.
Third thing to note are the eyes, seemingly boring items, however if you have one like the eye of wealth, you can see what kind of item is in a chest by clicking on it and as such if you need gloves, you can be picky, likewise you can choose your enemies based on the amount of gold they have.

This doesn't auto-save? After reaching level 9, I talked to the shopkeeper, then used the wings... and now I'm out of gear or money. But hey, at least I got the artifact... ugh. Gonna re-try this...

that was easy, but fun. Yes, spells are rather useless except healing spells. I'd like to point out that you can click on chests to see what kind of item they have, before you waste your hp getting to an item you just updated. consumables are usually worth fighting for. The boss was too easy, but also amusing :D. I got from floor 29, to finishing the game in one run. All together, 4 quests.

@Sojhin, your artifacts are counted when you warp out of the cave, not during it.

I'm running into a bug where I'll start a fight and then neither my character nor the monster will do any damage when swinging, and it gets stuck in an infinite loop going back and forth, so I can't progress :(

First time I died was on the last level, but on purpose :) But unfortunately when I died I could no longer return to the Floor Select popup when the New Quest button was clicked...

My only question is, why are the goblins called angry goblins? I mean, all you see are angry goblins. Are all goblins angry? If that is true, then why even distinct them as "Angry" goblins?
Maybe this games awesomeness has overloaded my brain, or something.

Good game. It could use more to it, gets a little repetive, but not too bad. One thing is the elemental attack/defense system wasn't that clear. I seemed to deal less damage to a creature with 0 water defense after equipping a ring with a huge bonus to water attack. Not really sure how it worked, but it wasn't that important to beating it.
