game is good, but not hard at all, just kept buying potions + some better equip if there is enough money. Just focus on pots, and inside the dungeon just go for chests and gems, don't waste hp to collect money bags and I got to floor 89 in one go. (then save exit, cuz I was a lil bit tired)

Minor adjustments that I think would improve the equipment portion of the game. 1. Double-clicking to replace one item with another. So if I double-click the gloves in my inventory, they automatically replace the ones I'm wearing. 2. Outfits category. If you have many pieces of equipment of the same make (don't know how to say it - like all Iron pieces) there could be an outfit option you click to equip you with all those pieces.

@Gizmo161uk: You assassinate an enemy by insta-killing it while wearing the amulet that gives you 20% instant kill chance.

Good game with a great level of difficulty and for once the potions I buy are going to be used unlike some other games...

i wish that when i leave the cave with wings i can sold my items i got...
and i think its better when all equipped items dont leave after using wings...

was alright, like most others said, a bit to easy. graphics were ok, scenes a bit repetitive. music got boring real quick. funny job with the boss. should have included more bosses, and less crap artifacts.

a minor detail, but when you exit you should have a chance to sell your items before you return so you can save money. just a thought. 5/5

I love this game, although the game becomes a walk in the park once you get the final weapon it does allow you to go back and kill those buggers of rock golem thingies that i had to use a potion after every fight with, just one question, how do you assasinate an enemy, if someone could whisper or shout me with the answer i will be very grateful as its the only medal i have left and ive killed everything for 200 floors and still aint got it thanks 5/5

The game isn't loading for some reason... well it loads, but then I'm stuck with a blank olive green screen. Every other game I've played today on Kongregate has worked though so I'm not sure what the problem is.

It would be nice to be able to decide your character's name and gender. It doesn't seem like it would be too difficult to make a set of female sprites. Other than that, I like it.

i want to know how many different artifacts there are... i want them all!!! haha. an inventory book would be nice, but it's just my opinion

WARNING::ADDICTING!! Hah I just sat and played the entire game through in one sitting. Glued to my computer for three hours straight and I still loved it. Great game. Simple yet so sophisticated. Hundreds of items. 5/5.

I love the rogue like aspect to the game, and the fact that it's a little easier than roguelikes, though it would be awesome to see a harder mode.
As for the game, I hate having to drag and drop every item over to the sell window multiple times. Why would I ever want to sell 1 one of an item? I'd always want to sell the max items I have, if I want to keep an item I'd probably have it equipped. But even if I want to save one, I want to sell all but one.

Yeah, Okay to be perfectly honest, what the hell is up with these eyes? I mean sure, it's nice to see your opponents stats from a tactical point of view, but in actuality wouldn't it be a lot more useful if they were eliminated so that you could pick up more weapons and such? Rank up if you agree with me, respond if you don't.

Really love this game. Far from my style and I still keep coming back even after getting all 28 achievements. Maybe an endless mode next time? I'd love to build up my character more and more and see how far I can get him into an endless dungeon without shops, relying on picking up consumable items from chests and using my heal spells to stay alive, but starting with the equipment I've already found in the main game.

good game kept me amused for a long time which is a task. there is a couple of things that could be improved like a more intuitive battle system dragging and dropping spells in the 3 seconds it takes to win the fight isnt woth the effort. also the shop could have been set out better e.g selecting what you want to sell then clicking sell instead of dragging and dropping all your loot. one other thing i just died on lv 80 (because i didnt see health was so low had 9 large health potions !!) and i have just respawned at lv 19 ! good beta game needs a little work 4 stars

Good job. Much in the flavor of rogue/angband of old, the first of this genre. One of two games I've given 5 stars. Thanx!

Pros:
- Very Enjoyable Game
- Artifact System
- Random Dungeons
- Random Items
Cons
- Magic System is worthless minus Healing
- Lack of Bosses (Final Boss didn't even feel like a boss)
- Itemization (Mage Items became near worthless minus resists)
- Amulet of Ninja (Overpowered for an very early artifact)
Changes For Different Release
- Magic (Allow the player to "equip" spells to attack with for easier change)
- Need to counter balance for a Caster with some ability to regain Mana faster
- BOSSES!!! Make it DANGEROUS for a player to continue further. Give them the debate... should I try for the boss or should I go back and heal?
- Weapons (Where's the Axes, Spears, and other weaponary then just swords?)
- Customizable Looking Character would be a bonus ^_^

I LOVE it! It's a simple dungeon game that you can finish a level in about a minute. I've played so many games that are boring because they take too long, but it's a light-playing game and it keeps your attention. 5/5 and DO WANT MOAR!

How do you use the escape wings? I click on them and they do nothing. I have 3 hp so I can't fight anything either...

This has to be one of my favorite games. It reminds me of the Nightmare of Druaga (one of the inspirations?). Losing everything is pretty rough when you warp out but I think it's a good penalty for when you start over again to prevent it from becoming a super fast game. Another good feature was Artifacts which encourage players to run some levels over again just to get them. Combat was nice and quick. Though I do agree magic seems of no real use except for heal, though i understand there is a inherent flaw if it becomes too easy to use magic.
Possible things for Enchanted Cave 2 or similar game could be buff spells, set bonuses, more medals (achievements too?) and a nightmare mode with better loot and stronger monsters.
Again GREAT game 5*/5*

Aren't you supposed to start from the beginning with all your items when you use the wings? As it is right now (June 14) dying and using the wings gives the same result: I start at the second to last floor with all my money and gold items.

so when i died all i could think of was how i got ripped off by that shop guy and if only i had a little more money i could have gotten a potion and i was like "HEY! I'LL KICK YA SQUAR IN THE NEUTS!"cause seriously, that was WEAK.

I really liked the game although it got slightly tedious after a bit... Was it just me that had to use ALL their potions on floors 89-99?
