Robot #1: Hey! Let's kill that stupid Defender that shoots at us!
Robot #2: Nah! i'd rather die trying to go through the damn door.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Considering that the machines' M.O. is limited to gracefully headbutting the door, a padded cover would solve all the problems (and look warm and fuzzy)

robot 1: hey, what if we kill the guy in the mech suit?
robot 2: Don't be ridiculous just ram against this seemingly indestructible wall.

Its good mind candy, but its extremely shallow, with little customization, theres no point to buying EMP parts until the end and the waves stop changing pretty early. That being said, it is better than the Matrix 3, which I assume is the inspiration. Cant really give it more than 3/5 though, considering its remarkable faults
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Does this remind anyone else of the scene in the matrix where the sentinels come in and they have mechs almost exactly like this one to shoot em down?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@cutelittleninja: there is a way, you just save up 220,000 metal that way you can buy the next weapon upgrade straight away.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
"So, the robots are coming, to save our city, i need those EMP Parts you got there!" - "Sir, those are 50 tons of metal each!" - "Dude, everybody will die if i don't assemble them, the human race is risking extinction as we speak!" - "Oh...so...it's decisive for the fate of humanity, hu? Then you'll pay any prize, make that 75 tons of metal each, then! My name's not Silberberg for nothing...!" *facepalm*
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
before buying upgrades please? Now it's really frustrating when you buy a upgrade and forget to repair with 5% health. Basically your screwed and have to start all over. 2/5 until fixed.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I have a suggestion: Make your player the main turret and make a hole at the bottom so the metal scraps will fall down there.
Then you can make the level longer by giving people time to collect it from the hole.

Sorry for the mistake! I meant to say: For autofire, simply hold down the mouse button, move it away from the game screen, let go and bring it back.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
i say there should be more upgrades (scrap metal magnet, faster shooting speed, etc.) and boss waves every 5 or 10 levels. the game is very good but has room for improvement.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
another thing: there should defenitely an upgrade for the wall, seriously, in later levels the wall gets damaged so fast...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
i think we can all agree there are some things we would like to see in the game such as a skill point system or a scrap metal multiplyer or collector, but the one thing i think it really needs is an option to prioritise what the turrets should immedietly shoot at when it appears e.g. setting the golden drills as prioritey

I find it annoying that the most expensive upgrade is actually, I dare say the weakest. Could you please give it more juice? I mean it sounded cool to have "Thor's Ball Lightning" but it actually wasn't that great, other than that, great game.

Robot: Hey dudes, we killed most of them, only one left! He is standing in a heavily turreted room building and emp device from his mech with big guns, lets try and go through the room he is in, but ignore him and chew at the door behind him, just for fun!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Upgrade: Scrap collector boy, saves you from running from left to right all the time ^^. could use different kind of upgrades so i could choose what kind of gamestyle i prefer.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
there seems to be a bug where reparing the wall doesn't repair it... i always repaired the wall full but when the next wave started the wall was again at the same (low) value that it was before...

Ideas continued/revised. It's possibly the player's second gun that is too weak or the first turret too strong in comparison. The player's third gun destroys enemies very rapidly when you get it.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Ideas continued. Add a difficult setting (easy / hard). Remove the EMP mechanic (people should buy weapons first), replace with a different upgrade. Maybe replace the jump with a jetpack option, and a platform in the middle (that you can shoot through), but while standing there, you take damage automatically (add a regenerating health bar for it), and will have to move back down periodically or your mech is shutdown and can't shoot. If there's no auto-fire, add a heat bar and increase fire rate while weapon is cooled down.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Some ideas. Autofire (you spend all of the time shooting anyway). Make scrap collection automatic or semi-automatic (stays on the ground) - (or we just go back and forth anyway. Let us focus on priority kills?). Add a secondary attack that pierces enemies and has a cooldown bar, like a grappling hook or homing missile or railgun. Bind it to "E" and "RMB" (then we have something to target silver enemies that spawn high). Turrets still seem strong compared to main player weapon and they cost about the same, maybe increase cost of turrets, increase player weapon strength a little, then increase hatch hp by up to 50% and increase repair costs by at least the same amount.

they copied it from the matrix everything the robot.the thing you have to prottect and the robots the are swarming the place.

If I was the head general, I wouldn't pick some average citizen to "mount the final defense" when I could have someone, I don't know, trained with arming heavy machinery.
great game btw

"The machines have killed everyone defending the city. You have been randomly chosen to mount the final defense. Good luck, High Command." Lol at the epic intro.
