this games is just time consuming as far as to getting the thor cannon and fully upgrading the turrets then its useless but either way lots of room for different levels newer robots possibly robots that attack you insted of the wall to make it harder for guns and upgrades you possiblyadd new mech types for speed damage or defence or even your own boss mech..

It would be better if you had a health bar as well and certain bots would attack you instead- like ranged ones. Also, why is it that all of the bigger robots fly in a straight line?

If you're trying to protect the city and everyone in it, why don't they just arm you with the best stuff they have to begin with?

This is, by far, one of the best Matrix inspired flash games out there. Gives the "i'm defending Zion" feeling from the get go, and the resemblance of the machines itself are uncany. Powerups would spoil the game, and the weapon escalation are very well done. Doing the right choice can be the difference between smooth sailing throw a level or almost barelly making it. Quite suprised, and that doesnt happen very often. Trully deserving top marks. Congratulations.

Good thing your ROBOT has anti-emp armor, so that insanely powerful emp blast didn't mess up your robot..... =p fun game, would like to see a 2nd one, 5/5 for meh.. btw, once you get the bfg max out turrets, then max out weps, by that time each wave gives enough metal to buy a piece of emp a wave

I definitely like that we have to collect metal rather than cash, since we are their last hope you'd think they wouldn't charge us for the stuff, so by having to collect metal it means they just don't have the materials for the parts.

There is a positive moment - it doesn't lag. not once. But you need to work on the concept, it's too bold. I, myself is invincible which is no fun at all. Enemies are doing same thing from the same place and my "skill" doesn't change. It's simple, and I wonder what must you do to lose? Start buying EMP from the start? :D

this scene was copied from matrix it is exactly the same, the suits the flying machines and the giant drills!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I could repeat what has been said: why jump? repetative, no skill needed, etc, etc... but on a positive note I like the graphics, audio is good (sfx, ambiance), and it has potential - it was fun the first couple of levels! This feels like a first stage of much longer game. look to PTfasd for some great ideas!

why must you place the buy things over the thing???? i hate that, i bought EMP twice thinking i was upgrading my turret. EMP is a waste of money unless you have most of the guns. Plus the game gets too repetetive. Staring at a glass backround as you shoot off millions of bullets. Bores me after 5 minutes.

i cant play it. the play button doesnt work. i tried firefox and IE but neither works. i can click the buton and all and it makes that 'shiff' sound but it doesnt register and it doesnt take me away from the main menu... none of the buttons on the main menu works o,o

Kind of repetitive but still awesome. As I am of the opinion that the Matrix stopped at the first movie (XKCD comic) this game is quite original, thanks.

I actually kind of like how you have to wait multiple waves to buy any upgrades and that there isn't an upgrade for 'more metal' or a cleaner. Some element of risk to the 'mech' itself would be nice- something to justify the jump button, maybe it can take damage.. something. It'd be worthwhile to see something between the waves other than just a shop.. bad robot jokes, or something.

"Oh. So....These machines killed everyone, except you! Well since you're so lucky here is an honor from us. You, only you, get to defend the city! Why you? Well you were randomly selected of course! Now go out and beat those effing machines! If you lose well, we all parish, no pressure no pressure. Good luck random lad who's name I do not know. Good luck."

Not a bad game, although there should be more and different upgrade options, and the emp parts should do something, like have a special ability that gets stronger everytime a new one is built, at the moment there's really no incentive for the player to buy them early on. I upgraded my main weapon and turrets to max and only bought the EMP parts in the last 4 turns.

"Don't worry about all of the effing sharp and deadly robots raining down on you, your mechanized armor is invulnerable to everything." -"Then why don't you build a door out of mechanized armor?" Really though, a few small tweaks would make this game a lot more interesting (and less of a simple grind fest). For starters, if you lost integrity when effing robot scrap fell on top of you. Now you have to be cautious of where you stand and where you shoot as you're collecting scraps. A few variations in robot behavior would be a huge plus too -- robots who effing shoot, robots who spawn with effing shields for the first few seconds, etc. All of which would add more difficulty to the end game, where once you get the final weapon, it really is just a grind fest.

I´ve killed the MATRIX...
Bit repetetive.. still some work to do..
Different levels, more enemies, different weapons, i.e. different weapon slots to choose, attacking enemies!
But so long, nicely done with potential!!! 3/5

It really does a good job of replicating the feel of the movie, enemies and bullets flying everywhere... but unfortunately there isn't much gameplay; you just run back and forth, holding the mouse down pointing at one place - no skill required :(.
