lowlife, I got the marksmanship achievement just fine, just be meticulous about shooting. My guess as to what's happening is that have a shot in the air when you level up, and that shot misses as a result of an enemy being destroyed. As long as you don't shoot just before you level up, you won't miss a bullet that way. That's how I did it, and I got it just fine even though I leveled up several times.

I love this game. The only thing I see is it may need some tweaking on the upgrade system like lugui said. But also an occasional checkpoint building up to some sort of boss battles? I dunno, maybe I just didn't get far enough. Are there boss battles?

the markmanship achievement doesn't seem to work... probably because of the ring of bullets that emanates from you when you level up. fix it please

also, i've gotten 50 shots without missing (closer to 100, i counted), and it hasn't awareded me the trophy. i think the little pings that shoot out when you level up probably count toward this... and some of those always miss. if it's not that then something else is broken with the trophy.

very addicting game that was well made, some of the trophies may get a little difficult but not impossible. I cant wait till this game gets its badges.

Wow, super bad-ass intro gave me the chills, now to check out the game play. Awesome, fun and entertaining. Just died, now to play again :P 5/5.

Yeah, something is wrong with the marksman achievement. I managed to get to 100 direct hits without missing or getting hit myself, yet i still didn't receive the achievement. Perhaps the "level up shockwave" is interfering?

-.- not fair.... i was half a level away fro m Hardcore (Platinum) and left for a minute, so when i came back my computer glitched out on me because of the screen saver and when i clicked down i accidentally upgraded my dude..... so now im pissed

health regeneration is pretty useless in the situation where you'll need it most. it should give some damage reduction to protect against burst damage.

Good, except for the pathological upgrades. A lot of games do this:
Eg. it costs 1 point to go from 1 bullet to 2 bullets, i.e. a 100% increase per point. It costs 2 points to go from 2 bullets to 3 bullets, a 50% increase, or 25% per point. So upgrading to level 3 is much worse than upgrading to level 2. Since all the upgrades do this, the optimal strategy is to buy all level 2s, then all level 3s, and so on. So much for diverse gameplay.
Solution: pay a fixed amount to increase the level of any attribute by 1.

If you want to increase your score a lot, don't grab any pixels. Just stay in one place and kill stuff. I went from a high score of 700k to 3 million in one game because all my points came from easy guys.

Extremely cool game! For those who have difficulty with the 'combo' trophies, simply focus points into Rapid Fire and Fire Spread - remain stationary, and shoot as randomly as possible whilst making sure nothing collides. You should be able to get the platinum within levels 3-4

Would be nice if you could add what type each trophie is so we know what to do for each bonus. but other then that great game

Very well-developed! The pixel graphics is excellent and reminds me of the good old Amiga days. The upgrade system is nice and the gameplay is frenetic enough. Too bad it is not a very original game in its mechanics, though it is one of the best shooters of this kind here on Kongregate. Many compliments.

Pretty good game. The story gives it an edge, and the gameplay is pretty smooth and colorful. However, I encountered what looks to be a glitch after dieing. The screen goes all black, but there appears to be a menu underneath it? Not sure if it relates to the game's lore about the darkness winning or whatever, so I am not too sure.
