oh give me a break its a kick ass wonderful game i just wish i could zoom the screen i sit on a couch about 2 feet from the screen when its this small its hard to see is all.

My score was 5.7 million first try. If there's any advice I'd give, it's not to bother with the pixel increase upgrade. Or the magnet. Focus on the spread and fire rate until they're maxed, then get piercing (destroys the blobs that shoot out lots of small purple ones). After that pretty much whatever. If you want a high score it might help to upgrade PTS straight away.

I don't really like games where dying means you have to start all over, I wish it was a massive level loss if you died rather than a complete reset. But it's fine I guess, love the graphics.

Get Every thing to lv3 then upgrade the 2 green cricles/bullet upgrades to max!!! i did that and i got up to about.......lv19!!! click + if this helped a lot 9999999/5

lmao got to lvl 50, everything maxed out then got swarmed by the little purple things that come out after you hit( and defeat) those teal-ish ball things >_<

I did not spend hours on this game trying to get every trophy ...okay well maybe I did ...but I didn't enjoy it ...okay got me again...

I'm not so sure it's hackers that got those scores. I just got 4.5 million with no cheats, and the highest score is 51 million. Is that so much as to be incredible? When you consider how many people have played this game, not really.

thanks to the many people posting medal guides, for helping me to get the hard badge. not all that hard of a game once you get all bronze and silver trophies, get to lvl 6 with those and you can max out any 1 skill, making all golds really easy, with the help of the "stay still for 120 seconds and don't get hit" strategy for the platinum evasion/chain trophies. 4.5 oiut of 5, the health on some of the enemies needs to be rebalanced, and you need to add a damge +.5 or something per lvl.

I enjoyed this game. Although it is a pretty generic shooter, I thought the levelling system, at least, was well thought out. It was really enjoyable seeing a ship go from shooting slow, single bullet to rapid firing four critical hit bullets at the same time. The graphics were nice, controls were tight, the enemies had a lot of charm, and gameplay was generally exciting.
I found rapid fire and regeneration to be the best skills (magnetism is a good skill if you want to level up quickly, e.g. for the "Get to Lvl 20 badge"; it also helps with staying alive because you are healed when you level up), with a Spread Fire upped to level 2-3 ASAP, so your rapid fire shoots more pellets. A little bit of critical Hit thrown in also helps. In general the level-up system was well-balanced though and none of the abilities felt useless to me.
4/5, keep up the good work!

This game could benefit from autofire, because holding the mouse button doesn't make it in any way more complex and my hand gets tired after three minutes of play.

Pixel Purge is a really fun game and kinda reminded me of Geometry Wars somewhat. Great game! 5/5! P.S. That 'Master Trophy Collector' Hard Badge was, in fact, very hard to get, but kept at it and finally got it(AFTER Badge of the Day for this game ended, by the way...). Regardless though, still worth the amount of effort I put into getting that badge. Platinum Chain trophy was the last one I needed, and boy was that one the hardest of the bunch. I did what some of you commenter's have said to do..by staying in one spot, upgrading Rapid and Spread and staying clear of many of the pixels as possible. That's exactly what I did and got to 1,000x at Level 4 without moving once. Well...I moved an inch to get a shield, but then immediately moved back to the same location.

Incredibly hard but possible. I finally just got the badge of the day after 5 attempts at obtaining my last 5 trophies.

Chain Combo TIP:
Monsters that will appear depends on your lvl. So dont move and don't take these pixels, move only when You really must. I had combo x1000 at 5 lvl. Have fun :)

Probably the best Shoot 'em Up game that I've ever played - and that's saying something, I've played a lot. 5/5 and favorited.
