I've been playing for several hours on and off during the evening, and I've all trophies except for killing the Shield King. I've not encountered him yet. Around what level does he turn up? I've not got past level 22.

Every time I die it's because an XL Seeker comes from off the screen and practically teleports into me. The Seekers' "pounce" should not be proportional to their size.

Found a bug where i accidently hit menu or right clicked or something and my character was stuck at the top of the screen because i was holding the 'w' key. Kind of like on the N64 platform where if you were holding the joystick up or something your character was always stuck moving forward until you reset the console.

Trouble with the 1k chain? Ok, here's how: 1) play normally until you have all Bronze/Silver trophies (comparatively easy). 2) Try the same for gold (hint: 500 chain works same as 1k chain, see below). 3) after prepping yourself (steps 1+2), start a game and ignore all skills but Fire Speed/Spread (and +% critical). Distribute your skillpoints as you see fit between those 3. Start shooting stuff, try to not move. Important: Don't collect pixels (levelling makes higher tier enemies appear). I stole those hints from DiMono (Newgrounds), so my thanks go to him. Enjoy!

did anyone else notice that if your playing a flash video in zoom player the video will seep through the pixels, thats so cool!

great game man, sweet-ass enemy design, and not too shabby with the upgrade system, i like the way it was animated, though you could broaden the weapon variety a bit.
controls were spot-on, though sometimes they seemed a bit sticky to me at times; there were occasions where i would take my hands off the directional buttons and my ship would go shooting off in one direction
also, i notice you have the help and toggle music icons on the screen when the game isn't paused, and i often ended up accidentally clicking on one of these things, and then the music toggles or the help screen would come up unexpectedly. you might contact the kongregate developers and see if you can't get them to move these game-side chat-rooms to a place where they'll be out of my way when i'm playing these point-and-click games. also add in more music tracks.

Haha, good game, but would like to see a Item Drop increase skill, an Attack boost increase skill, a defence boost increase skill and a health boost increase skill.

It's fun to see a shooter like this being simple, yet not very easy. You shouldn't lose ups after death imo, though... + if you agree.

Great game, the sound design is really amazing. It really adds a nice effect to the story and the game. Gameplay is great too, though it gets pretty hard after a while.

standing still is the safest bet for the 500/1000-hit-trophy, but it still hard to get because of these enemies that shoot spikes when killed.

To get the awards for chains, points, enemies killed, and evasion. Use your beginning points on your firing speed and spread. Then, stay in the middle and play like you're a turret. This prevents you from leveling up and nothing but green and purple pixels will attack you.

This game is quite a good one. It does not only requires agility, but tactic. You need to know what are you upgrading if you want to survive. Despite that, the game has its flaws. For example, the nonexistancy of the confirmation window when you try to exit makes every upgrade dangerous because you can misclick. The powering up system allows you to turrel defense to earn infinite points. The list can be prolonged a bit. Overall it's a 4/5, but you need to balance it more and add a safety element.

I can see myself playing this game a lot, it's a really fun game. It's simple, and has good replay value when you want to beat a high score. It would be cool to see a little more upgrades though and some more bonuses when you unlock achievements? I don't know, but it's great to see that someone is still making games in this genre that are simple and highly addictive. I wish I had more friends, since the high score board is full of high scores that can't be beat.

To those having issues with the 1000 chain... honestly, super easy achievement, especially if you have any of the "all" trophies that give you starting skill points. Just sit still, shoot stuff, avoid leveling, and level up offensive skills (aka attack speed and spread). For real guys, you bitch that its so hard but I have gotten 2000 chains.... it is the opposite of difficult.

Trophies, unfortunately, were very easy to get. I had all of the platinum trophies (aside from get all of the golden trophies) before I even had all of my silver trophies!

Tip: To get high chains and high scores, avoid leveling up. Leveling up only makes you more likely to get hit or die. Instead, move as little as possible thus avoiding pixelgrabbing, get a shield powerup, damage upgrades and point upgrades after that (if you're scoring) and spam bullets.
