I think an upgrade that increases the drop rate of power-ups along with the rate of crits and piercing bullets would be a good idea. Also, an "Easy" or "Infinite" mode would GREATLY increase the fun to be had in this game.

The all trophy's rewards sucks i Didn't think it would be that good but dang infinitive health would be nice but 14 skill points at start really isn't worth it because i have done everything Thumbs up if you agree.

i din't like games where you haave to pick items dropped by enemies to buy stuff...you either get killed trying to pick up money early on or die from lack of money later-just plain frustrating!

I used Rajei's build for a while, but the regeneration won't be enough from lvl 25+.
Even the red power up's won't be enough, so you should go first for rapid fire/fire spread and then pierce. After that you can choose between pixel drop or pixel magnet, because you regeneration will be lvling up. You can also put 1 or 2 points in regeneration, but then again, it will heal so slow that you will eventually die. For critical, I really don't know how many points you should put it, or when. It is very useful, but I still don't know if Critical > Magnet/Pixel drop.

@Sebine: I have several comments to make. First, when enemies die, they explode, causing a chain reaction. Second, what's with the cussing? It really doesn't help make your comment. And third, and most of all, Why are you here, and not finding a game you DO like?

@ denecaep
You likely have a grunt inside of you doing damage, there's nothing in the game that can possibly hurt you for no reason. As for the upgrade menu, press SPACE, P, or ESC to bring it up, it only comes up on it's own once.

Very fun game. Could use a "Are you sure you want to quit" button... yeah. You know what that means.
What was most impressive was the high quality of the opening monologue, mainly because it's so rare. You got a good voice actor.

Err... maybe this is just me missing something, but the game has two bugs for me. The health seems to occasionally go down for no reason, and also, the upgrade screen never comes up for me.

This has to be the most addicting game on here... Can't wait for the badges! If anything, I think you should add a sort of campaign mode with bosses and checkpoints.. lol i muted the music, and as I was typing this, some random thunder played in my headphones and nearly made me piss myself..

The best way to get most of the in-game Trophies, but especially the CHAIN trophies, is to move as little as possible. Chain kills reset whenever you are hit, and at higher levels, getting hit is pretty much inevitable. By staying as still as possible, you collect few pixels and level very slowly, allowing you to grind through all thousand hits on green and purple enemies. Attack speed and spread upgrades help it go a little faster. This is also a good way to drive up your score and to lure in more kings for other achievements. Rate this up if it helps you!

Really like the game, but I've been playing for 2-3 days now and still have not come across a single King Vessel enemy. I have every trophy but 3, all dependant on killing the King Vessel.

This game is good in the aspects that it has nice smooth gameplay, an upgrade system that requires you to kill and collect the drops and that it has ingame upgrades that in a way make you feel you've acomplished something, but... this game has alot of flaws that need to be fixed and/or put in, like an upgrade to highten the core strength of your ship and if your gonna' have enemies that eventually fill the screen cous' there so big, atleast add in upgrades for back and side firing cannons, you could also try an upgrade tree allowing a player to upgrade into different wepon types like a pulsar or mini machine gun. You could also make the screen an unlimited mass by connecting the 2 sides and the top to the bottom like that of the origional shooter game these origionated from. for the bad points and good points i'd say a good 4/5 surfices.

The build I prefer is based off rapid fire, regen and fire spread. This is a highly mobile fighting style, focusing on avoidance and survivability then score or leveling quickly (which in turn means a better shot at king trophies). I start off with rapid fire - putting a single point in fire spread until rapid fire gets to be about level 4-5 before putting any more into spread. When spread is rank four I put a few levels into regen and a point each into crit and pierce for some added kick (it calculates per projectile). Due to the random nature of the encounters the rest is largely up to you. Peons will disappear and get replaced with wavers, seekers, vessels and packs of king grunts - you WILL get hit. Hopefully your regen will be high enough by then and your rapid fire powerups are plentiful enough to sit and play turret before having to haul ass again. Higher ranks of pierce will be essential to get rid of smaller enemies hiding in packs and to effectively deal with vessels.

Serious lag issue. Still, good game. Though still looking for a King Fume to get my final gold trophy. Can't get it without one turning up

In the beginning try to invest a lot into pixels and a little into magnetism since they will get you leveling really really fast. After reaching 5 on pixels and 3 on magnetism, try to invest in spread, rapid fire, and 1 in critical. After around 4 in spread, 3 in rapid fire and 1 in critical, invest in pixels and magnetism a little bit (1 level for each), then invest in spread and rapid fire.

this is a really good game but has a really steep difficulty curve. First your trying to shoot but by the time i reached level 2 items in everything, it was frantic dodging.

It would be great if map grew in size every 5 levels or so. It's really hard to avoid getting hit on this little arena once you reach level 20 and all hell breaks loose.

This is an epic game, however, it needs four things: Base Damage upgrade, Max HP Upgrade, Luck/Item Drop Amount upgrade, and badges.
