Snail Chew means that snails will hit coins/gems out of the tree whilst they're on it. I had no room to explain what it was. And yes, snails slow down to a standard speed while on the tree so don't worry about fast snails not spawning as much coins. :)

Another bug: after the boss kills me everything back on the ground doubles each time I die, and eventually there are so many snails and diamonds on the screen the game freezes
Thanks for the comment! I'm currently ironing out bugs that I missed, was this the first thing you did when loading the game?
Also, for anyone unable to hit the tree, click Clear Save button first, you should be able to then.
