The character development is almost non-existent. Nera is angry, Sisy is annoying (oh wait i mean "perky"), and Gely, aside from being two-faced, has no personality at all, and there's really nothing more that can be said. The dialog is cliche, obnoxious, unfunny, and unbelievable. But if I squint my eyes and pretend I'm playing a console RPG from the mid-90's I can kind of ignore all that, and the combat system is actually pretty neat. So...4/5

Anyways, I found out why is there dots in the games title. Ge stands for Gelyan, Ne - Neraine and sis - sisily. Emi isnt in the name cause she isnt a "I woke up in a strange place" person.

i'm finally through...
i liked the story and the graphics...
for me, the fighting was too hard... if you choose the wrong levelling system (like i did) you just have no chance at all in some battles... and there is only one character you can alter afterwards by magic :( ... so i had to do 2 or 3 battles on easy mode allthough i am used to playing rpgs...
and the ending... an open end after a battle which you could not win...
after all i give 4/5 stars

"Ge.ne.sis is a story-driven RPG utilizing turn-based strategic combat and an upgrade system allowing players to customize their characters in any way."

Really great game! I guess fights will get more difficult later on and I'm really looking forward to see them :) The only thing I miss is a possibility to respecc your characters, so you can try out different builds without having to start again. 5/5!

Anyway, great game; fantastic characters; nice comedic personality for each; decent plot and wonderful graphic. Complex gameplay yet easy to grasp and the magnificent combat system is a real hook. There are some typos but nothing big and a few bugs that wouldn't kill anyone with a simple reset. If I could, I would score you a 9/5. But since the preferred scoring is 5/5, 4.5/5 would have to do. (The .5 is for the bugs. Fairness)

The 5th fight is so stupid. If the main enemy would just attack instead of healing itself my party would have been wiped (on easy settings)...
Also the main character is a stupid bitch.

Good game. Just beat the Master of the Tale. I've beaten all bosses in this game under Normal difficulty(I never change that to Easy). Nothing is impossible for those people whining it's too hard. But just like Jason_Anchord, I got 98% done too, I want a 100% though ..

Also, I don't get why some people play these flash games and expect mountains of diamond candy goodness to flood their screen. Keep in mind that these /are/ free games, so you can't expect them to have everything a big developer can put behind a game. /minirant

Brilliant game. Great graphics, brilliant storyline, good plot twists. I honestly see no problem with the dialouge, the characters are engaging, funny and quirky, not stale cutout rpg figurines. Intuitive leveling and perk system, great battle system. I don't find the combat system hard to move around at all. Some monsters were a bit hard, but once you have a think about it, it's pretty easy. Wasn't able to finish it all tonight, but will definitley be coming back. Kudos for a great game! 5/5

Meh, gonna come back tomorrow. Shadow Master in fight 24 is PURE luck. If the shadows fire their good stuff, the real ones die in one shot. If the shadows don't, I have a fairly good chance.

Amazing. Can't wait for number two. Story line was incredible and the game play was excellent (No glitches for me) 5/5

I'd probably like it alot more if the controls didn't keep breaking and jamming so i'm only able to move in one direction. It needs some code fixing and a bit of a rebalence of some of the monsters difficulties etc. So at the moment its an average 3/5.

I've given up at 27% complete - it's got great looks and is well thought-out, but I'm just not into RPGs enough to play it through.
Doesn't mean it's a bad game though, 5/5, just not for me.

Loved the game, got 5/5 from me tho its annoying me that I beat the game but I still need 2% to finish at 100%. And as a side note, Levantine, you have the right idea, people if you hate RPG's, DONT PLAY THEM and complain that you hate them, its a waste of people's time and it just makes a great game look bad when you rate it 1/5 when your only reason for the rating is that you hate RPG's.

First bug in tutorial which cannot be stopped 1/5 because of bug that keep appearing and hindering me from learning the game. It happens after she says Cojure me top left corner bla... you get error message that you cannot close.

Excellent game. Although I would have liked to see a way to repeat battles. With the story focusing on timelines and memories, it wouldn't have been difficult to find some way to implement it and still have it make sense. Still a 5/5, though.
