the tarot system needs work... all you do every time is summon all you got on your first turn. there's no reason not to, it just wastes a turn... needs a downside or time limit or something

woot so much fun beat it all the way through gave it a 5/5 tale memory was actually surprisingly easy if you did it right

"The Lovers" is only awarded to those who donate. It's like a special "thank-you". Not neccesary to beat the game tho.

guys heres a tip on hard bosses GO ALL OUT ON THEM use all ur attacks the strongest if ur low on energy i would suggest saving some for ur strongest characters like gelyan hes very good i use soul pact and i hit 5000+ and beat on extra battle for moon shard

Here's how i beat tale:First u gotta hope tale moves first turn not leaf ring move,then nere summons death.sisi worm,gely hanged man.Tale probably uses leaf ring next turn,move death to block the choke(dont use death to atk!use soul-eater),worm left side sisi middle behind death emi right side,and this routin goes on untill leaf ring move gets u members Hp like 1000,make nere sacrifices death to stun tale(remeber use souleater b4 that),at the same turn sacrifice hanged man as well to lower tale's stats then next turn gely summons fool,Move nere to block the choke and summon priest.Wait next turn nere get healed then continue atk.(if nere health goes low then dont atk on her turn,fool's ability shoulda give her some health).Now setup is finished u just gotta be very patient,u will kill tale little by little slowly thats how i've done.GL

Nice game and all, but could use a little more attribute points and more skills. There also should be a normal attack button so you dont need to waste energy in battle and just attack. I'm waiting for the sequel to come out wish it could come out sooner ;(

Now THIS is a game that deserves badges. Excellent game, so enticing it made me stay awake the whole night till morning to complete it. And the AI is good (at last!) too!. 5/5, favorited, awaiting for the sequel. Kongregate, if you don't badge this game after those badges on Battalion, you clearly don't know what you are doing.

To kill cerebrus, you need to keep him from making it throug the pass...its best to use Death early as you can to stun him with Soulburst, thus droping him to a single turn,the use High Priestess to block from then on, with Nera tanking the one summonless turn (Move death, then move nera to pass block,then Souburst. use ranged skills to peck at him, and when High Priestess goes down, use ALL Soul bursts and skils. Nera should drop easily from there

Quite fun Ifound it is only litcy is ru on Vista. The bosses and ncounters were all fun, and the lack of grind made it more enjoyable.
To anyone having issues with any of the side or story bosses that show after side quests are available, get The Death by doing the Honey colection side quest, summon it on the first turn, and save energy on the second to use its skill then sacrifice it onto the boss, it will stun it

So i beat tale memory and all the sidequests to get to him but it's only saying 98% complete... how do i get the last 2%?

(gely, or as i call him nao, gay mc. bastard-theif, does help with battle, but his tarot cnat maove it has same range as him though, so that helps. and only 1 bandit type is ranged, even boss has to be next to u. stupid but very helpful. take out archer, then use gely. just make sure he move far away, farther then they can, and u might win. i still havnt though.:_(

i am stuck or the theives boss. i have all of all the charcters skill points. i have tons of health and do like 2000 damage if i get lucky help plz. i have the best i can do on this fight and still cant win. epic game. spoiler alert:after u get all people together, and get diary, u rewrite the past, then gelyan take off with book and pen. then u chase him down after killing his tarrot (yes, he has 1) and then u have to fight the bandit dudes, 1 of each kind, and their boss. that alll i have for nao. but really, help plz, NAO!

good 4/5 i love rpg and this one just imspires me with stragetic gameplay and good attack animation tho some glitches keep it from being its best.

Just a hint that's worked for me...
If you can't enter action phase for some reason, PRESS SPACE. it should reset it, and if it still doesnt work, retry that particular battle and it should work.

this game is awsome if u would just get far enough u would see wat i mean so many plot twists the tutorial works fine i even did it at the librarys suckish comp and i found no glitches

Yet another RPG that tries to be cartoony and lighthearted.... I -hate- those. That aside, I found it quite boring, and not really groundbreaking at all. Average game. 3/5
