The best way to spend the money is getting the next tier unit. Dont upgrade. Next unit is normally way superior. Especially the penguin, which will just freeze and kill from a far. Also wear the EXP and Money rings, so you dont have to go back to grind.

The cost for upgrades / units should be cut down, that way we're not spending 5+ hours grinding away on older levels.

Monkeys need more health & more damage. Really, they freaking suck.
They cost 70, they die in one hit, they move really slow, they have the longest delay, and they do barely any damage at all. Everything about the monkey sucks. PLEASE FIX IT!

5/5 I love this game. I can't stop playing it. The thing I love the most is that there isn't any nonsensical grinding involved. With the exp and gold ring, I've been able to continue on without having to repeat levels to by upgrades or level up Paladog.

I think that people need to stop complaining. This is a very good game and very thought out. This must have taken him/her forever to make something with this many options of customization. This game is good enough that with minor adjustments it could end up being pretty popular

Wohoo! I finally beat the game on hardest difficulty with all stars! The game was great it challenged me alot. I had to switch tactics several times, because some enemies was too good vs some units etc. Damn good game, it was a bit too long but I still played whole of it!

Very fun game, but the green 'random ally/mace' stages really make the game grind to a halt in later levels, by removing 90% of the customization that makes the game so fun. Focused on food income, or mana efficiency? Too bad! You didn't upgrade turtles or monkeys, so your progress is brought to a screeching halt until you go back and farm up another 250k gold to invest into them!

Awesome game! I suggest that there is more characters in the game not only darkdog. I wish there are four characters in game and you can only get it when you defeat the final boss in every difficulties. I have many suggestions in this game 1.when the unit is in max level it will change in a cool unit and it has some abilities. 2.The unit , ring ,and maces has a evolution stages 3.add some upgrades on paladog like (unit mastery, and others) 4.add some difficulties like impossible and others 5.add some monsters 6.add some stages, enemies , intros and bosses 7.add some minigames and challenges 8.add upgrades in the unit's speed and delays 9.add some rings and maces 10. make Paladog 2! :) That's all thank you for reading and your cooperation.

Super easy, just mass out the rangers (2), also upgrade them to max.
I've used only rangers throughout first three chapters, using first Turtle then Rhino to tank (just 1 of em)

Problem with the Destiny (green) rounds: The regen is too slow so that a lot of it comes down to luck when you get far enough into the game.

the good part is tat skills dun require any cooldown which is something tat i like about tis game n i always like to see when i lvl up thrs diff skills i can up. nice gam

Thanks for the suggestion to summon only archers. This works throughout the entire game. On the later levels use the fist (heh) and/or the wings to establish the archer mobs. Serious suggestion for the developer: PLEASE find someone who is a native English speaker and have them proofread your texts. I bet someone would even do it for free if you gave them a credit somewhere. Overall really fun game (except for the levels where you don't get to choose your summons those levels bite!)

Alright, so I'm almost done writing a novel I've been working on for a year-and-a-half. I fell in love with this game a while back on my iPod, and when I saw it posted on Kongregate, I've been avoiding the site pretty much altogether because I know that if I start playing it, it'll be REALLY hard to stop.
So what does my brother do? Take the laptop and pretty much forces me to play this game.

I had to stop myself at the fourth level because I'll get incredibly addicted. Paladog is the only game on here that can do that to me.
I love it, but at the same time I'm like, "FFFFFFUUUUUUUUU--"

20/20 on the bunnies.
18/20 on the kangaroos.
And I haven't failed a mission aside from the one or two Destiny Mode ones.

This is more addictive than Plants vs Zombies ever was. You should put it on XBox Live Arcade. I'd buy it if it was priced in the $4-$7 range.

Very annoying you cant move items about in your backpack. I dont like having gaps between items and when new items comes in you dont know where they've gone too.

Dont bother upgrading the early stuff. (Mice for sure) I did, and they're pretty much useless for anything but early into the mission cannon fodder.
