Units should have upgrade trees which allow you to customize them some. Also, I'd like to see a "platinum" star rating for beating a level in a ridiculously low amount of time. Even as it is, though, this is a five star game easily.

im losing my saved game so is rendering this game useless to even put more then second of efford in since this game demands you to play it for quite long... same thing happened with saves at armor games also deleted save games argggg

Some suggestions:
- I've never found use for flame wand and freeze wand, flame wand could have more damage or burning effect, freeze wand was for me the lesser wand of wind(+ also penguins already have this ability so what for?)
- upgrading units cost enourmous amount of gold; the increase in upgrade cost is too much and should rather be bigger base gold cost + less increase per level, because it is rarely worth to upgrade beyond level 6 unless you have spare money
- certain skills:
- paladog hp bonus skill 20 levels is just too much where reduced damage to paladog only has five is much better choice
- having experience bonus skill of 9 levels means that if I had maxed this I should have ended with at least level 95+ to be worth it(because I didn't give a single point to it and ended with level 80)
- maxing food cap does not make sense for me beyond 200;It would be nice if this skill also increased starting food (for example +10 per level) that way it may be more useful.

Just finished playing.
Great game gave it 5/5 stars.
I could give endless praises about how it was great - the well done graphics, awsome music, variety in items, monsters and strategies and of course the great cut scenes(Grrrr:) + also pig merchant and apple worm made me laugh.
(Played on difficulty hard beat everything on 3 star rating)

I liked the game. Until 4-17. How am I supposed to protect the mofo caravan if the ghosts have BOSS LEVEL HEALTH, warp around, keep coming, can 3-shot me, 1-shot my BLOODY archers? OH wait, I CAN'T.

My strat : 1 or 2 turtles while keeping weak stuff dead with either fists, or freezing bigger stuf so it groups with smaller stuff so I can lightning it. Then I SPAM max upgraded archers who I keep in my aura and maybe 1-2 penguins for freeze support.

Is it just me or does the mana to food staff give 10 food regardless the level of the staff? I'm getting +10 food for -16 mana with a +2 and also with a +7 staff :\

the best combination i use is lightning to kill, heal to last, fist to stall, dragon as offence, penguin as support, and rihno as defence

Or you go turtle + fist. It works wonders against all except ghost+archers. got to level 63 @ chapter 3 before my saves got erased. Oh well, atleast i can test another build.

poison, lightning, turtle, rabbit, aura size +1. that's pretty much all you need to know. love love love poison, especially in the beginning with some ice to give you time to build up.

the survival levels where you just stand casting spells and sending monsters : they're really difficult compared to the rest (and it feels too random), and the ghosts just always get me in the second chapter, I get no way to kill them for a while when they're on me, and if it happens once or twice i'm dead.

actually, it seems none of them increase in stat, and when I first upgraded the archer it showed stats in the 100s, but when i first upgrad it got reduced dramatically and didnt increase on further upgrades

I wish there was a way to see what a critter upgrade was like before making it, I did a few upgrades of the base unit and most of its stats didn't even move.
