The money and XP maker: go to level 4-10 where you're confronted to your ghostly doppelgänger which in impervious to physical attacks. Build a large army. Make sure to have a certain quantity of ranged units so that they make a "cushion" between Paladog and the boss in case he's using spells on you. Just wait for level to increase. From time to time, re-generate units.

um olrod ya know thats just your own lack of skill you can win i give the game a 5/5 it has potential maby 3 mistakes like coments above but its a great game

Can't get past level 15 because it seems to be all down to luck. Luck-based missions are an immediate -5* no matter how good the rest of the game is.

I think that one of the skill point upgrades should be that you start with some food, up to 50 maybe, otherwise you are waiting for your food to build up enough while your enemy is heading at you.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Not sure if this was intentional or not, but when your units are attacking the enemy base in the normal (yellow) missions, enemy ranged units will stay inside the base, which means that your units (possibly only melee units) aren't able to attack them. The only reliable way to kill them is with a spell. Otherwise they just sit there with impunity raining death upon your forces.

Green battles are too random. Yeah, they're all winnable, but I've lost before without having a card that could actually kill the enemy. I only played on normal and only used it at the very end, but rabbit spam did seem a bit too powerful. The final level's gate has a lot of HP, so once I had approached the gate and reached a stalemate with the enemy, I just rabbit spammed. Final boss really couldn't do anything because all the support was dying instantly. I really don't like the idea of going Epic Battle's way of limits per type- but something needs to be done- maybe make shields extremely arrow resistant and add more attacks that hit back ranks? Monkeys are weak. Bears and 'roos a bit too similar. Consider having the poison mace either have minor area of effect, or ignore targets already poisoned. The purple battles are stupidly easy. It's a bit slow to start- I quit for a while after only playing a few levels, and only played again because I got sick and had nothing better to do.

Those stupid ghosts seem to take any sort of strategy out of the game. You should at least be able to hit them with spells while they are invisible.

I would also add that you think about the EPIC WAR series and make a comparison. Even accepting the different visual support....the game is much slower with weaker graphics, etc. Plus the extremely annoying fact that others have pointed out---Paladog can't attack without mana/skills...just makes the game slower.

This is a rare moment. I only comment to recommend a game, but.....the high ranking forces me to comment. This game is boring and no challenge at all.....WHY are you all giving it so many stars? There is almost NO strategy to this game......go forward, summon dudes, summon dudes, summon dudes, cast a spell, summon dudes, repeat...until you destroy boss/castle....add upgrades repeat last sequence. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ I think the dog and wierd little sequences is the appeal....the comments suggest I am right.

To the people who are losing on the random unit battles, your upgrades and rings effect it. I haven't lost a single one and I am in the castle...

You should be able to choose the three squads you can use during the random choice battles because I am tired of the useless monkeys.

Clearing Chapter 4. and watching that the horse is taking the pic, and the dog has a peace sign, simply made the 3 days of playing this game COMPLETELY worth it :D

I think there's a balance issue here. Even on hard difficulty after about 15 points in increased mana income the lane battles can be won using magic alone. Also, you spend 450 points of magic and get 600 food in dragons, let alone the other 22 units which spawn. Makes food rather unnessecary...

Am I upgrading the street fighter whenever I "upgrade" another fighter? What's the point of not being able to purchase the dragon if I have 300k gold? Another thing I would like say is that why to those fighters have specific clothes that can be attiributed to some cultures?

Wayyyy too easy. Rabbits + mana to food staff wins every single normal level. You literally have to hit nothing but J and 2 over and over the entire time. Been a while since I even lost a rabbit. The other animals just end up hurting you since they make the ghost pop up right in front of your rabbits. Otherwise the rabbits annihiliate ghosts.

Only problem i have is that in later stages (4th world +) the card battles become much harder, sence there is little stratagy to them, if you get 5 crappy spell cards and units you are going to lose. Perhaps a little balancing is needed no?

dont know if any1 else is having a problem with this but when i lag on this game or it freezes for a short time some of my unites or on occasion paladog gets warped forward from were they were, could someone fix that little glitch
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@Dustin, you do realize you dont get all unit types on the green levels? if you are on a level that gives you bears, then upgrade your bears.........
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
THe green levels are easy. EVen on hell mode. If you are having a hard time, you are doing it wrong. You only get 2-3 types of units per green level. Start the level, find out what type you get, and go upgrade those units (monkeys suck, but you have to upgrade them to pass the green level they are in, etc) Dont send units until they are almost on you, send melee units and the range behind so they stay in your aura. stockpile cards for the 2 big waves that come. Easy. Dont complain if you arent paying attention to how they work.

i agree that the green levels are someone broken. For instance, I'd estimate 50 to 75% of my cards are bears- the one creature that i never use. Turtles and Roos, the backbone of my force, haven't shown up ONCE in about a dozen replays. Furthermore, if you get screwed by your card choices, a ghost can move through your force and then lick you to death in a matter of seconds. Other than these minor complaints, I've found the game engaging, well thought out, and enjoyable. My compliments to the designer.

got to level 42 on normal mode, loved it alot and thought it was too easy, so now I'm working on a Hell mode run. Much more fun this way
