One of the best games on Kongregate ever!!

my suggestion for the next version is to show stats of the critters when you upgrade them, to change their clothes when upgraded, to add a ring slot, to create a castle for paladog where he can hide for a while in case enemies are too strong and come on his side while he runs away and the possibility to upgrade it's defences with some shooting turrets!
i love the idea of animals fighting like humans...and i find sweet the drawinigs of the characters!

Just wondering ... the last comment about paladog having 6 sons and 6 daughters ... I only see 11 pups. Where'd the other one go?

Decent game and I enjoyed playing it through. Tips: paladogs upgrades should focus on troop's bonus's. Favorite maces: poison (for the hated ghosts, big enemies and 1 shot always at the beginning of each lvl), turn undead and meteor. Army tips: Dont do much upgrades unless necessary. In the beginning, turtle and rabbit work good together; then latter rhino and rabbit (fully upgrade rabbit at some point); and finally 1-2 penguin, 1-2 rhino and pump out the rabbits like they were ... well rabbits ... easy win all the way to the end on normal. Only rings I used was exp rings except on rare occasions.

Did you know that most of Led Zeppelin's greatest hits were blatantly ripped off, uncredited, from obscure black blues musicians from the '40s and '50s? And that both Windows and Apple stole their idea for a GUI OS from Xerox? Yes, this game is a blatant ripoff of Epic War. Here is the difference: Epic War is boring and sucks, while this game is fun.

Once you get a high enough level, you can beat the 5 lane levels by just holding down '1' and maybe hitting J once in awhile.

id like to say there is a difference of ripping off and getting inspired by so for all you saying rip off from epic war realize epic war was a "rip off" of something else at one point

Strategy for beating every "normal " level ( no battlefield) :
1º:Buy Archer
2º: Max archer
3º: Upgrade auras that increase units haste / skill proc
4º: Upgrade Cultivation /magic (if you have a food mace)
5º: Spam archer.
Easy strategy that wins almost every level. Just make sure that your front archers are always getting buffed from your aura

@del1279002 Well, I think that was the great thing about it. :) I was getting worried this game was gonna end after the first section until i clicked the button for the next page. This is a really good game with a variety of battles that keeps it entertaining.

Wow that game was ridiculously long. Just the first set of 25 levels is about as long as most flash games are, this goes on 5x that.

Just beat first chapter, so far awesome game, just needs some badges. Plus the Youtube animation was awesome...Paladog movie next?

Biggest suggestion: Actual numbers for all stats. For instance: I have no idea of the actual amount of food converted using the food mace. Also, an upgrade tree would be nice instead of the three choices. I've sometimes been looking to upgrade a specific skill and didn't get to for a few levels, or I haven't wanted to waste an upgrade on the three provided. It was a great idea on paper to limit it, but it's really just annoying.
