I love this game. I love the music, and the simplistic gameplay style that is moderate-difficult to master. However, I do feel that it is way too short, and there are definitely a few features that should be added, that I can already see people agree with by looking at the top comments. Unfortunately, I don't think the developer has done that great of a job responding or listening to the commenters, as he has not done any patches to the game for a few months. If he is not working on a massive patch that will fix everything and add many new levels, I will be disappointed. As much as I enjoy this game, it definitely needs a few tweaks and more levels. Btw, is there anywhere I could find the music to download?

@Rosi111 The Super Crazy Guitar Maniac Deluxe series if way harder. This was rather easy compared to some of the later pro levels of part 4.

I agree about what people are saying about the coloring of the levels, it's pretty annoying and I have to look away from the monitor every 3-4 minutes. But still, good game.

I feel like that if you could add mic compatibility, I would win every level. My feral cavemanlike duh duh duh duh-duhs would be much more useful.

I wonder if i have any medical condition like beat deafness or anything else leading to my complete and utter failure with this game, lol

I still keep coming back to play it, it's definitely my favourite game on Kong. There's more to it than what it seems. I find that playing it with one finger is just as pointyless as any other button mashing game. Playing it with two or more fingers (thanks to multiple buttons!) really opens up its potential, as it's no more a simple game, but an excellent training tool for rhythm and consistency. As a bass player, I would give it 6 stars!

its a fun game, but not a good idea to play it while half asleep. im glad i can use nearly any key on keyboard to play this and not have to break my mouse

@anoitos I am on a laptop but what I recommend using is the right ctrl/shift key, but make sure to calibrate it before attempting 3-X

So I realized after 3-X that there was a beat that I was supposed to be pressing the keys to….that would have made this game a lot easier.

I would recomend pressing the "space" button since it's easier than clicking and doesn't make an annoying sound per 0.5 seconds :p

i love this game! i like it so much because i love music so much AND i love a good challenge every now and then. i'd tell all my friends about this! if i had any...

@FIZZD The buttons are there, its just that the fore ground and background is Black. I dont know if Kong will let me post imgur link, but i can screen-cap.

My biggest peeve is the % complete screen. I'd like to know how far I've been, but it's very hard to reach that screen when I fail. I don't plan when I'm going to miss a note, so my fingers are still pressing buttons after the miss, which skips the map/% complete screen. And on some occasions I've seen the map screen (where it zooms out to the whole level) without the % complete at the bottom.
what do you and marphithrs mean by the 'GUI of the game'? If you mean you see a console and buttons where there shouldn't be, then you've just activated debugging by accident. Reloading the game should do the trick.

@pailmaster - There's a recalibration mini-game for that very reason, genius. Pay attention and read directions before you go lecturing a developer.

Wow, what a refreshingly nice game, still struggling with hard levels but it's a nice fair challenge. Great work on this game!

the beat compared to when you press is off just slightly wich makes this game very annoying to play
there is a good game under this but a rythm game has to be spot on and yours is not

I really do enjoy playing this game to the beat of the music(it's so catchy) But I think there should be difficulties so that people that are awful at this game, like me, can actually be able to play it >.<

Wait, you made a single push of the "c" button clear my progress? Why would you do that without some kind of confirmation. I had randomly been switching buttons as finger got tired, and I just cleared my progress after beating the second stage.
Not a huge deal, but a little inconvenient after spending 10-15 minutes finally getting through the last stage of level 2.

It's amazing, with the only real problem being the delay between the beat and the actual click. I can't get past 1.3x due to unconsciously trying to either do it on the beat, or overcompensate for the delay and hit WAY too early.

I feel like a "practice mode" would be really awesome!
So that for an example you can start one level over at certain checkpoints.
It's kind of frustrating to play the whole level again, when you struggle on the last few bars ... ;)

guys help
I couldn't see a thing in the game! The only thing I see is the GUI of the game! And I am not the only one. Is it a Kong error, or is it just my PC?

i play the Hatsune Miku Project Diva F games, so i am not affected by the background while playing rhythm games, but i know others that cannot play these games because of the backgrounds. so i do think the background should have an option to be turned off. i feel like there are some people who might enjoy this game were it not for the background.

Musical games that you have to perfect with flashing lights, rotating images, etc etc mostly annoy me because all it takes is a split second of lag to mess you up. Also as pointed out by others, the flashing lights and what not give you a headache after awhile. Granted I've been playing this game for over an hour straight so that probably has something to do with it too!
