Under rating threshold (show) Welp, I just cleared my data by trying to type the word 'accidentally' into chat. Maybe make it a little harder to clear data? Like something you have to actually click? Like every other game ever with a reset option?

Under rating threshold (show) I have no idea what this game wants me to do. Press what? With a mouse or keyboard? Is the beat when the red circle crosses the line on either side of the blue?

Under rating threshold (show) How the heck do you play this game?? The calibration told me three times that I was "Inconsistent".... how can tapping in time to the beat on my touchpad be inconsistent?

Under rating threshold (show) I played a bit of it and I really like the concept. However, I'm counting the beat and having the countdown from 5 almost consistantly screwing me up. Have the count down be for the beat, whether it is 2/4, 3/4, 6/8 or 9/8. Then I wouldn't be constantly messing myself up by "listening" to the wrong beat.

Under rating threshold (show) Many professional rhythm games have precise feedback which lets the player know when they are early or late, and by how much. Whether it's DDR's explicit great/excellent, or Rhythm Heaven's adorable art. Feedback would be nice, as I cannot tell how off-beat I am when I miss.

Under rating threshold (show) You're supposed to match the beat with mouse clicks, which implies you're supposed to have either a super durable mouse or a whole bucket of them, because after an hour or so, mine started to make double clicks when I click just once.

Under rating threshold (show) hey.. i solved 3-X (1x).. tried to solve 3-X (1.1x).. and closed the game.. next time i wanted to try 1.1x again.. tried to continue and seems like if i want to play 3-X (1.1x) again i have to complete 3-X (1x) again.. that is no good. What if i want to try 3-X (2x)? i have to complete insane levels in one session? :(

Under rating threshold (show) Bah, on 3x the music keeps messing me up. It is great up to about 71% as the emphasis on the music is the beat, but then the emphasis changes to the riff which throws off the beat you get.

Under rating threshold (show) While I like the simplistic gameplay, I dislike that the only form of difficulty comes from "instant death". While I don't have good rhythm, I can see when my presses/clicks outright don't register. It becomes fairly annoying to keep failing when there is no 2nd chance and it isn't my problem.

Under rating threshold (show) I've somehow managed to get to 1.7x speed on 3-x. Is there an actual end to the speed boosts? My curiousity is indeed killing me. I think this is as far as I'm gonna get.

Under rating threshold (show) I'm having some difficulty with 3-X. Sometimes I even fail on straight lines because of the speed. I've tried recalibrating many times, and the offset varies between 0.01 and 0.08 every time - even with a consistency rating of A or B every time. Since I'm a hobby musician, I know my beat tapping isn't above 99% accuracy, but I know it's pretty decent, so I feel confident believing many of my errors must be either keyboard latency, or the game not picking up the strokes at a consistent delay. I've been almost through the level though, so I'll probably get it eventually, but I wish more could be done to make the errors solely based on human timing faults.

Under rating threshold (show) I wish there was a life/star type system in the levels. Like you're allowed to miss up to 3 times, but you lose a star for each life lost. It would allow people to actually BLINK in the middle of levels. I would like to block occasionally. It hurts when I don't.

Under rating threshold (show) Was trying to think of ways to make this game harder. Then I realized a mode called "Blindfold" could be added which would make it much harder but not impossible if it is not a new song. You see, the longer I did some of the songs though I realized I knew them without looking and found myself closing my eyes and still doing well. Could make a good impossible badge in perhaps a second game?????

Under rating threshold (show) You know,I hear all these people blabbing about 3-X... Well, I can't get past 1-X. I mean, seriously... We start off at a nice and easy pace... Then BAM. You're going off at 120 MPH down a public road. Seriously? PLEASE let us practice the faster speeds first. And if you're going to have the beat come in half way through the first part, could you bring it in gradually? It's rather off putting, going by sight, then suddenly having a beat that you know you're supposed to match come in and disrupt your flow. Please do keep in mind that not everyone is a musical genius. I genuinely do like the songs in this game, so I would like to enjoy them as well. But, of course, the steep difficulty curve is a bit too much for me.

Under rating threshold (show) Quote from Itou2: Gave up after about 15 tries at 2-x. Consistently getting to the speed up part but loosing my pace at that time. Would be nice to have some practice levels for speeding up and slowing down. I agree and I think they should put a practice level for every stage (e.g. e,x, etc.) on how to speed up, slow down, and do other things as well as sharpen your skills on a new type of level called "Endurance" where the level is infinite and your points are based on your time alive. Please +1 this so the developers can see it! Thanks! :D

Under rating threshold (show) This is a really fun concept once you figure out how things work. My one problem is that I'd like to see a differentiation on the game board between faster and slower changes of pace. Since apparently it's part of the design to start the level over, if we could have a better shot at guessing what's coming up it will feel like a fairer trade-off to the player imo. Other than that, I like how you made the one-button rhythm thing as dynamic as this. Thanks! :)

Under rating threshold (show) It's a nice game, but it loses a point from me because there's no way to practice the trickier parts of stages. It's just annoying to only get one try at a part that's messing you up every minute, and only if you were perfect up to that point.

Under rating threshold (show) For those that have weak mouses I recommend You use - Spacebar or Enter or any other key. But don't play with the keyboard in the level selection screen like me, because You may press the "C" letter and You will be doomed... I was on the 17th level ;_;.

(2)

Developer response from fizzd

Ack, there is a confirmation but i supposed you missed it if you were mashing keys! I'll make it so you have to hold it down for a few seconds, that should work. Thanks!
