Love the music. The match-the-beat has been done before, but not to navigate a ball through a maze. Nice concept, and execution. What might make everybody stop complaining is if you provide checkpoints which don't save progress, but rather UNLOCK portions of the song to listen to. Not having heard what's coming up next makes pure guessing very difficult and stress inducing. For what it's worth, I still had to look up a video just to hear the 3.x song in full. I still had to match the beats, but I could enjoy it much more... 5/5 regardless. I hope you release more tunes!

To any newgrounder, these songs will bring back nightmares, to new players, prepare to hear 2-X and 3-X in your sleep.
It's interesting to note that new symbols were added to the Kong ver. allowing me to see what's going on and anticipate it rather than memorize. In all honesty, that actually detracted from the fun. Made me feel like I was being hand-held past some of the levels and the game wasn't forcing me to use my memory.

I keep finding myself that I can get far on my first attempt, but if I don't make it that my remaining attempts will keep failing short. I'm still stuck on 1-X, and it's like on the first try, I'd make it to 95%, and then after that, I can barely make it past the first bend DX

It's funny. 3x took me the better part of an hour yesterday to finish. I come back today while board and get it the first try. Also I can do it easier with my eyes closed because the visuals are distracting.

Recalibration is key, arcthas. If you do not recalibrate them until you are consistent, you will not have said "perfect" timing because of input lag.

Please make it so we can select any stage we have gotten to for play. Replaying tuts is not necessary, plus after finally beating 3-X and getting the faster speed, I'm apparently forced to beat normal 3-X again to retry after a refresh. Also, would REALLY like to play the first songs at a higher tempo. FUN GAME!

The swirly tiles that turn the world around are completely unnecessary. Then only introduce an artifical nuisance that add nothing to the game, except the wrong kind of frustration. Similar to how certain games intentionally implement useless controls "to make it more challenging." Nobody wants that. Please find a way to increase difficulty that makes more sense. Apart from that, the game has great potential!

The delay after you have failed should be longer. I usually don't get to see how far I reached because I have clicked to many times and immediately start over. Maybe a restart button?

Once I've completed part of a level it would be nice to have a checkpoint. If that's too easy, make it so you have to have done it x amount of times perfectly/in a row to get the save point.

Here's An Idea: Tiles that need more than 1 pass to light up. Or intersections. This game can get soooo much cooler than it already is. 5/5 > 10/5.

Have to agree, a save point would be highly welcomed. Other than that, I noticed that the 2-1, 2-2, does not prepare you for the 2X. There are markings on the board that were not present in the "training levels".

A checkpoint system might help. I'm pretty sure that people don't want to repeat the first 40% of 3-X after hundreds of times getting it right.
