If you're looking for a good game to play on Kongregate, and don't have any in mind, you can always find one on FliplineStudios' profile. I've yet to see them make anything that isn't a masterpiece, regardless of personal preference.

The one thing I would like to see however is a little bit more of a money sink. Seeing as how all of my skills were maxed out before even level 9, money becomes pointless, and badges are less rewarding. What would be amazing is if there were an "Arsenal" button on the menu, where you could buy from a full list of all of the weapons in the game, and choose one to start your next stage with. They could be either single use (and cheap, also maybe exclude just a few weapons?), or lifetime supply (meaning that you can start every level holding one after you buy it, and they would be more expensive). The biggest reason is the monotony of first FINDING the weapon you need for a badge (ex. Boxing gloves) then getting KILLS with it. Also it adds more reason to collect gold, makes the game more interesting, and doesn't break it. Obviously, some levels would have to make exceptions (ex. chickens and grenades), but it can be done. Beautifully made by the way.

Just got all badges and my only thoughts are this: First of all I love the attention to detail, namely how when you leave the screen and come back every single weapon lying on the ground is exactly where you left it with as much power as was left in it. This is unexpected in pretty much any game.

Another amazing game on Kongregate... lots of weapons, many levels of different difficulties, badges, awards, rewards, etc. Have had hours of pleasure TRYING to finish this game. There are several really good videos on You Tube relating to solutions to some of the "problem" areas in Cactus McCoy that you may find helpful. Just type in "Cactus McCoy Challenges" at your computer prompt to get to them. Hope everyone enjoys this game as much as I do. B.Z.

I have played around 100 games on Kongregate, and I have rated three of them 5 stars. This is one of the three.
The gameplay is fluid. The art is fantastic. The theme is innovative, refreshing, clever, funny. The music is spot-on. The replay value is tremendous.
This is an excellent, excellent game.

While I would appreciate the ability whip upwards and diagonally... I imagine it's a pretty difficult skill to master. Takes practice, even for a half man/half cactus

Only just played the first level, but can already tell this game is epicly awesome. So much detail and the fighting is fun. I'm sure it gets harder from here, but I just have to say that the level seems a bit long for me. Still, I had fun exploring it and just wanted to say this game is getting a 5/5 from me, would be more if I could...

I like the music but after a while I get bored of it... Apart from the excellent game, this needs a mute music only button, I think :P

tip for the hard achiewment:first do all challenges from all lvl but the "beat the lvl in ..." not and then, when u finished all lvl, play all the lvl with"beat the lvl in..." by running and not beating enemies + so all should get the last badge

Quality graphics? Yes. Lovely audio? Affirmative. Smooth, responsive game play? Check. Loads and freaking loads of lag? Amazingly, no! Oh my goodness, I do approve of this. ♥

This is still a brilliant, deep game. I like that there are little forgiving additions to the engine that let players be a little off with their jumps and still be able to jump. For example. right after walking off a platform. This game needs its attention back again. D:

This is definitely one of my favourite flash games. Like other have said, it's the little details that make this so great, along with the good physics and satisfying hit mechanic. I am playing with an xbox controller using x-padder and it is so much fun.
I would love to see more like this from you, or to see this made into a series.
5 stars

This game has been extremely well made. The intelligence of the characters and the great graphics and music simply makes this game fashionably applaudable. 5 stars from me! XD
