From a programmers standpoint this game has a lot of work in it, very detailed. The character design, level design, challenges, and upgrade system are very well implemented. The weapons are even designed nicely, being able to glide with a chicken is very cool. As far as my personal taste as a gamer, I just can't play this game for hours, the whole run, jump, and kill baddies thing lost it's playability for me. Would be cool if the character used the fact he is a cactus to some advantage, like flinging spikes or something cool like that. But mostly it just feels like the mechanics of walking around picking up weapons is boring. I think it needs a different way to control the character, and a different way to grab weapons would be cool too. Just my opinion.4/5

Great game, five of five, but since I am playing on an older computer, i would very much appreciate a quality toggle.

Seriously, at level 4, the lats chickens are all the way up, a bit left. But how do you get them?? i can see them but they're to high to reach

Pretty awesome game, would have liked a better ending or maybe more story in between a few of the missions. Perhaps even some skills or whatever but was nice enough without it. Good job!

I think there has been some key tweaking. Anyway the game does not respond as before. My keys have started to stick(running in certain direction after key is released), not attacking several times in a row sometimes although I tap "a". All in all it has become way more unresposive for me.

very ugly game.... its so unfair! Come on! Homing Parachute Bombs?? and when you destroy one they spawn again! >:( and how the hell can I finish challenge when they are impossible?? Ugly just ugly... i rate this...this game is not even worth rating!

@Kabi, wearing them mixes aound the first and second words of your sentence, confusing the enemies and increasing the time between their attacks. Hope this helped :)

My only complaint about an otherwise fantastic game is that I have to wait a full ten seconds after beating a level for the summary numbers to finish before I can continue

For those who want to shoot diagonally left but can't:
-place the cactus where you want it to shoot
-hold the up arrow and right click
-let the up arrow
-left click (on the game window)
-hold the left arrow and shoot
-pause the game
-hold the up arrow and un-pause

Excellent game! Extremely polished and professional. I enjoyed it immensely, and still look forward to completing the rest of the challenges.
There are just a few things that I was missing a little bit as I played. (I admit that these are total nitpicks) Firstly, the background music was excellent, among the highest quality I've heard on a free internet game, but I was somewhat disappointed as I went through the levels and it was the same two themes over and over. Second, I loved whipping weapons, but would have liked to be able to whip them upwards and at angles. Thirdly...maybe a couple of more boss fights?

For some strange reason I can shoot diagonally right, but not diagonally left, which makes shooting targets a problem..

A little help for getting challenge 5 on area 12. I used the meteor/ball and chain and kept hitting him over and over and whenever he backed up I knew he was going to shoot so I'd duck until he was done and hit him again and again and never lost any health. I hope this helps. Also the 60 hit combo was kind of hard, but easiest before the fight by getting at least 10 hits off of each guy.

This is one of the best flash games i have ever played. To think that it was created by only two people! You guys are to be commended. The result is just spectacular; the graphics are crisp, cute, clean, and vivid, the gameplay is classic platformer. Really enjoyed the variety of enemies and weapons. I had so much fun completing the game i feel like I owe you some money. BTW it looks fantastic fullscreen using swiffout or better kongregate.

NEED HELP! How do you kill all Gatling Gunners in level 9 with your fists? I can't reach the last three of them hiding on the logs' waggon.

A little tip for beating the boss without getting killed challenge. Tried a variety of the weapons available in the last level, and found the best to be either the rattlesnake in one of the vases, or the purple enimigo's ball and chain if you can knock it out of his hands. when facing the boss i just kept ducking and whipping when he jumped next to me. the gun shots can't hit you whilst ducking. if he sends other enimigos, drop the weapon to save its "life" and pick back up when you have finished them off. The rattlesnake lasted me until i killed him. hope this helps!

I played this on armor games but now it won't load on kongregate, it also happens on golden robot which i also played on armor games, I cleared my cookies and cache but i think there is something i missed i just don't know where,
