ok heres a suggestion what if the zombies could bite and infect the gaurds right in front of your eyes. Then if the guard that got bit was a knight have fun taking that sucker out.

I got stuck on a survival level forever. No matter how many enemies I killed, it was impossible to fend them off for long enough for the "leave the area" bar to fill up. Eventually, I just quit, losing over 100,000 gold.

tip: the knife you start with sucks at first but is quite good when you upgrade and use it. you also get 120% gold when you kill something with it, and it's the only weapon that does

I like the style but cannot cope with the controls. There needs to be a setting to change the speed at which the mouse scrolls the screen or to just turn it off altogether. Currently it is pretty uncomfortable to play when it is zooming all over the place. Doesn't make sense to run or attack with the mouse when it also moves the camera independent of the player.

So the towers suddenly lose their defenses when we're adding a new section? I love the game, but I've ragequit many times because THOSE DAMN ZOMBIES GOT TO MY TOWER WHEN I'M MAKING UPGRADES YOU USELESS GUARDS! Anyways yeah, it'd be nice to have some backup

@whaot44 there is already a survival mode and if you want a minigame the tower cleaning and the tower defence against raids are pretty much that.

Zombies wouldn't have the mental capacity to attack with anything but their fists. Maybe these guys just spent too much time at ye olde pub?

a good idea would be to include an apocalypse mode,survival mode and some minigames. a level up feature for the character might be nice

needs more, must have, multilayer functions, for battle field and survival. maybe even rival outskirt towns to take from one another. ;P

Did some more experimenting and found that the only real remedy is quick reflexes and perseverance. Maybe a bit of luck as well?

Anyone else noticing a sharp difficulty spike between 2nd and 3rd level of the later towers? Usually the lvl 2 is extremely easy while the lvl 3 is impossible. Even with poison arrows, full guards, fully upgraded weapons, and fully leveled up abilities I quickly become overwhelmed.

ok, to open the next area if you have upgraded every thing: you still need to defend the tower both on foot and with your ranged defenses once apiece in each quarter. Basically all you should have left is explore area and rest in tavern options. Hope this helps
