Finally, a brilliant, well-executed game that sticks by that in the sequels. Loved the original, love this just as much.

Stablility, Berserk, orc armor, and bow = Chaingun turrent of death. Its next to unkillable even when swarmed and if you beserk bow fires for double damage and twice as fast. Also with stablity you almost can't be knocked down. Also with top level orc armor and stablity you have 80% armor. no damage is high enough to really hurt you before you mow it down at a range with the bow.

Capturing enemy bug: after quitting and loading the game again all experience is lost, you have to start capturing weak enemies to be able to capture the bigger ones.
Sorry, the data that the game submits to us doesn't make a distinction! But if you play the game on a harder difficulty setting than "easy," you'll know that you're awesome, and who's more important to impress than yourself?

It seems like more people are experiencing this "can't find the Master of Wisdom" bug. I think there are two possible causes (Let's hope FlyAnvil sees this comment):
[1] My second master to be unlocked was the Master of Pain, but as you need some achievements as well to unlock him, he's not really unlocked until you find the Master of Wisdom. So instead the order is switched, and the Master of Wisdom is never unlocked, because he should be unlocked one step earlier.
[2] In the Outskirts of Central Quarter I repetitively find a master, and I repetitively bring him to the tavern, but the Master of Wisdom is never unlocked. I have checked all the other locations for the masters, but none of them are there anymore (because they're unlocked). But this last master is present every time I play that level.

eagle eye doesn't work for me at all, no enemies or items show up on the map it just shows me the layout and i'm at level two eagle eye

For tower : I like archer.Why?because it is effective,accurate and still deadly at level 3 (all archer)
For weapon : I like archer too.why? because the arrow can go through enemy so you can shoot some enemies in a line.and it can poison,the enemy can help you but if you like you can kill it for double coins.
Awesome right?
For skill : lockpick (for open chest),eagel eye (help you see everything),engineer (to upgrade tower and mine)
Strategy : defense 1st before mine.and if you can minus the growth so the threat can go down.
Plus this so others can be helped

am i the only one that utilized the fact that poison arrows heal poisoned enemies completely?? just take a chief zombie trol and mass poison him till he clears your enemies :)

I'd LOVE a way to automate tower defense. I hate having to randomly defend. (The missions are another thing. If I can do it once and be done, that's fine.)

I wish there was a way to undo the skill-based upgrades. This is only because, contrary to the description of the skill, Berserk does not increase your damage, only the attack rate. I was using a fulled upgraded hammer, one shotting most enemies and taking large chunks of health out of trolls then I got berserk and...well, it ruined the character. It actually severely lowers the damage output per hit and it took several shots to just kill a mid-level enemy. I even tested it out buy purchasing the manual-activated berserk skill. Would have never purchased it knowing that would just cripple the damage output if you wanted to make a heavy-hitting character.

This probably would be a great game the only thing that pushed me away after some time of going through it was all the tips. The tips in the beginning put a strain on my low patience at the time.. I might come back to the game later on but for now, I can do without the nonstop tips coming up that i have to click out of. i'll still give you 4/5 though.

Guys, if a master didn't count when you brought him to the tavern, then do another mission in the same place. He will run to you at the start of the mission and you can then take him to the tavern again (I guess that's a failsafe feature).

Im quite annoyed to be honest, I loved all the games when i had a working mouse but since mine barely ever clicks now i would love an option to make keys what you want instead of just set keys.

Best tip for finding the masters: You get the masters in a specific order, NOT a specific location. The armor games forum has these listed:
Old quarter (intro and fairgrounds), Greyed quarter (tower), Working quarter(mine), Central quarter(outskirts).
I found the master of wisdom in the Old Quarter Fairgrounds. GO THROUGH ALL OF THEM!

Ok so, i've tried numerous time to explore central quarter, but as soon as i encounter a swarm of zombies, my character freezes, the mouse doesn't respond and i can't do anything until game over. This is getting too frustrating, i quit. Too bad, the game was cool up til that point...

i unlock and finish the 5 area the one you have to kill 150 mob in 5 min, but no other map unlock??? some bugs or what?

I seek the Master of Wisdom. After succumbing to reading the walkthrough, I know that I'm at the right place (with 100% game completion), yet he will not spawn. Is there some sort of glitch or side quest that I must complete?

Nice game so far (3 quarters freed with towers built). However, sometimes the game freezes...for me, not for the zombies. And sometimes the towers don't shoot: i click, but for some reason nothing happens. Can be very frustrating, especially when you're defending against an assault (and i'm certain it's not the usual cooldown...)

Definitely a glitch with the Master of Wisdom. I found him, he didn't die, played in both normal and hard difficulty, redid all quarters, still didn't unlock his specialties. Really dampens the enjoyment of the game (in addition to the severe lag that will kill your character).

There seems to have been an update with some definite improvements in the tracking of statistics. The "Full Arsenal" achievement looks to still be bugged, as does the Dragon Trap (which never seems to gain experience, possibly because it can't kill anything).

@Ilfirin: Yes, the description says that the "route *to* the adjacent quarter" is cleared and the "threat *in* the quarter" is reduced by 20%. You're attacking monsters along the border of the quarters, so it has an effect in each. It doesn't reduce the threat as much as attacking the largest group in the quarter (20% vs 30%) but it does help reduce the danger.

in defence tower missions bot with archers or balistas i click like a damned in zombies diection but before they attacked passed years. Is only my problem or someone else have this problem?

Also, the "attack from the tower" missions seem to reduce threat in their quarter rather than in the neighboring quarter

For anyone having trouble to find the masters: You get two in the old quarter (in intro and in fairgrounds, one in greyed quarter (tower), one in working quarter(mine) and one in central quarter(outskirts).
