Despite the description, the crossbow is actually faster as well as stronger and has more range than the bow. Trust a guy who's beat this game like seven times that the crossbow is the better weapon

Also may as well mention that in order to activate most of the eagle eye skills, tap Z while holding down the space key. I was more than halfway through the game before I found that out.

When taking a mine for the first time, an easy way to do it is to set traps all around the entrances to all the mine shafts.

The "Stability" skill breaks sometimes, which is frustrating when i'm trying to fight an enemy that will take me 20 "plinks" from the bow when i could just kill him with 3 charged shots.

dont buy orc mercenaries before you have trained all your soldiers, because otherwise the orc mercenary will just take all the kills and make it near impossible for you to finish soldier training missions.

Third tip: If you're low on health and need to engage enemies, Burst + Crossbow is pretty hard to beat. If you're in the middle of a mosh pit and want to get out, stop clicking if you have Charge unlocked. Charge triggers on an enemy in valid distance that you CLICK ON, making it easy to chain kills together on weak enemies.

Other tip along the line of BrainpanSonata's: Arrows have piercing here. Poison arrows are arrows. Poison arrows pierce with full effect. Meaning you can rack up many poisons in one shot. Aim for collateral.

my ballista wont shoot when I click. I have to spam my mouse in order to shoot. It makes it extremely hard to defend the quarters. I know its not lag because I just got a gaming computer and it can definitely handle this game. Help?

Had issues with the last master in central quarter: I brought him in and the game didn't recognize that I had unlocked him. I went back and completed the finding the caches for the citizen and unlocked the level 3 chest and that seemed to fix the problem.
