hmm... the best way to get the height achievements on low levels... get a rock pack... shoot the turtle near the ground... do this until you find a banana... before you hit the banana put the rockpack on,,, it will throw u to space

4,474,000 w/o 5 hour medal. First 2m only on tank/rocket/golden gun, next 1m on about 60 nukes, final 1.4m on golden gun reload. Got a reload right at the end too, but I hit a spike...

Finally! 3.08m feet. Once I figured out the best time to use the guns it got easier. Picking up the reload really helped.

Standard cannon + uzi + rock pack = 800 feet vertically medal
Shoot your turtle 45 degrees then when it starts losing height then you use rock pack. When you are using rock pack shoot the turtle full auto and I reached about 950 feet.
