I've found the easiest way to earn the hard badge is to stock up on nukes, and ration your bullets.
If you're going top speed, the turtle will be on the far right of the screen, so don't use your bullets while he's over there since you won't make him go any fast.
Wait until he's in the middle of the screen, and if he's low, use a nuke to raise him up. Then, shoot him once with the golden gun and he'll fly over to top speed again. Just keep repeating those steps.

whats with all the struggle on 3,000,000 badge? i did it with a single nuke on my first go with the golden gun. just wait till ur barely moving before firing each shot.

Finally got that 3 mill badge, my basic strategy to it was to launch, use the missile and fire the golden gun shots, (in that order) then use nukes and hope for a reload on the ammo. It takes alot of luck though, and by the time i got it I had about seventy something nukes left from my 86(i think) I started with
Great game though, love the fact that theres a mute button on at least one new game

omg!!!!!!!!!! ive played this game for about 20 hours i have 5 hour medal but its impossible to do hard badge cos of those flippin air spikes please reduce them or sumthing

Nice game, but after a while it gets boring and repetitive. Got the hard badge (99% of it is just waiting) and will never play this again.

For all those complaining about the time it takes to get the hard badge: whip out a movie and watch it while you flip back and forth to this game every so often. Launch again and ignore it.

i LOVE this game. it looks brilliant, its well made ( tho could do with more upgrades) its fun and im just playin it over and over and not bored yet :D

2.67 mil best, all achievements, 956 nukes, and the pos loses my save file...I'm so done. I've also changed my rating from 4/5 to 1/5.
