To get to 3 million:
1) Get the best tank, missiles, and gun. Also get at least 50 nukes and the chest bomb.
2) Shoot the turtle at ~30 degrees and make sure it goes higher than 1000ft.
3) After it bounces once, time the nuke so that the explosion animation will happen at the maximum height (greater than 1000ft).
4) Repeat 3 until either of the following happens:
-The turtle gets hit by the red bird
-The turtle gets to the middle of the screen
5) Once the turtle gets close to the middle of the screen, let it bounce until its maximum height is below 1000ft, and shoot it with a bullet.
6) Repeat 3-5.
Hope this helps. You should be able to get 3 million feet without extra ammo.

Floating spikes are a real pain in the ass... especially when you've been going for 2mil +. Other wise this is a pretty nice looking but plain launcher.

Hardest Part - Getting 3m
Second Hardest Part - Trying to die after 3m lol
3 hours of getting scores like - 2.89m, 2.71m, 2.51m and getting abducted at 2500ft. The last run I got 4 extra ammo packs that i didnt even need, all luck. I literally gave up with 7 ammo left at 3.8m score since i was so stressed zzz. Still a worthy game overall~

How do you register the badge? I got the required 3 million miles (actually 5 million, but who's counting) but it hasn't registered. Do I refresh, or retry, or go to the front page, or what?

I REALLY hate those spikes... I was at 2,000,000 feet, but then, my little turtle fell down on a spike. Poor turtle... So young...

I think I misunderstood the blurry colors that was the game when that happened, lol. What actually happened was that the bird caused the turtle to bounce insanely fast. Hindsight is 20-20 with x-ray goggles on (makes you look stupid)

Dear UFO owners,
Although I understand this might be different from where you are from, we do not consider it to be proper etiquette if you kidnap a turtle in outer space. Especially not if the turtle has nearly travelled 3 million feet, something it wants to do really, really badly. Please don't do it again.

Holy shit I just hit a big bird and gained so much speed that the damn screen wrapped; The turtle just popped off the top,up through the ground and up to approximately the height he was on when he hit the bird again. Amazingly hilarious and hilariously amazing game.

The phoenix is by far the WORST thing they could've put into this game. Why would you think that's a good idea? "Let's put something in a distance game that takes all the horizontal momentum - AND MAKE IT VERTICAL MOMENTUM! Oh, and we're not going to reward you for height, either."
I was still having fun with this game, until I hit a phoenix EVERY TIME and it kills my buzz. Almost perfect game...

Has anyone noticed that when you run out of rocks for the slingshot, when you click it sounds like the sound effect when Mario shoots fireballs in his white suit?

Okay how many nukes do I need to have to get the 3mil feet?? The tank and the golden gun seem to get me all the way to 1.3mil. I tried 30 straight nukes afterwards and that was still only 2.2mil.... gesh, it takes too long.

Trick to get money early on in the game: Buy the booster/Jet pack/Missile, and an Uzi. Launch at a 45 degree angle, and once he reaches the maximum height he can with your current cannon, use the booster/jet/missile pack. As soon as you activate said pack, shoot the turtle before the pack runs out. Should get you to at least 800 feet high, and 600/1000/1500 feet across, depending on your pack/cannon.

twice got abducted by f***ing aliens nearly to 3,000,000 feet. this sucks. still one of the greatest games ..but really hard hard badge
