For those talking about the controls not doing much, try shooting the turtle at the ground as weak as you can, if you hold D you move and roll alot faster, so it does help a little to move him

It just seems to me that the amount you can actually affect what you do by controlling the turtle is too small to bother. Can just as well fire the cannon, leave it to itself for a few minutes, come back, re-fire, etc.

Would be far more fun for me without instanst-death air-spikes and UFOs. Some vague feeling of control might be nice too.

I think, like the chest bomb should be one of the things you can collect when you're flying, though.

Cannon your guy and nuke him when he starts getting low height and when he gets low speed (left side of screen and not right) shoot him to get the speed back & repeat with the nuke. Good idea to use your rocket once your out of bullets too.
& Chest bomb has been useless for me. Only die to spikes..
