If you go fast enough; nothing hits you. If you go very fast, but not fast enough, the chest bomb thingy is useless. You just get killed on the other side of the floating spikes.

Good game mostly. Only bad part is when you use a jetpack and your turtle hits a floating spike head first. Other than that, excellent.

Two problems: 1) You should have named the retry button something more proactive, like, maybe, "Go!" Because the first time several times I did it I had to make sure my money got saved and I looked for a while for the next level button. 2) When you're going at super high speeds, is it just me or are the only things you can hit spikes? Because I never hear or see any others when i'm going more than a few hundred feet/sec
Otherwise, great and addicting game.
