The combat needs some work. Things just sort of rush to a clump in the middle. Better AI to stay "in their lanes" would help make it feel more tactical.

figured it out,
you know those small boards that are really small football fields and you put your players on there and turn it on and the players vibrate and randomly move.
that is this game, I think it was trying to be like Total War but your men just sorta flop around after you place them and the mission system is retarded, how dare you ppl give it a 5 wtf really have you ever played a good game

6. Upgrading the units with money is more effective (hitpoints and damage) than with gaining experience in fighting!
This bug is very poor.

In the age of genghis khan there was no kuvait, moldavia, slovenia,.....
4. What the hell is the recovery for?
Explain me the battle where a general clicks on a unit which is immediately renewed?
5. After having 1000 gold pieces you have no more use for money - but still need to conquere 3 quarter of the world.
Anyway - a nice game with the potential of a great game.

Nice game having some bugs which should be easily for the programmers to fix them.
1. Fighting - for example - in Europe it is anoying to scroll after a successful fight everytime to the left.
2. Let the player save some attacking formations!
To place up to 81 units before starting to fight is very boring!
3. Remove countries which have been found in the past several hundret years!
In the age of genghis khan there was no

fun. but i chose Mission 1 to start with, but I did not know that, upon completing it, you would lose all the progress you made. I thought I could simply go on with my army and conquer the other mission.

Lord Drakonis you can only beat 1 mission in a file so the badge should be beat mission 8 take over all of Europe and Asia.

i agree with mrboyd, there isn't really "strategy involved at all"!! you just have to click "fight" and there you go... nothing else to do. 3/5

it's fun for about 2 minutes, until you realize that there is not strategy involved at all.
The staging area is useless because the position of the soldier does not matter, the unit types don't matter, the terrain doesn't matter. The only thing that matters is having level 12 units.
btw, I finished level 8 and having to scroll the map back to the left after every battle was so annoying.
Conquering Europe is a waste of time as they are way underpowered by the time you get there.

very fun game, but a few improvements are necessary to give this a 5, such as more interactive gameplay. I see a few sequel opportunities for this using other world conquerors, such as Alexander the Great. 4/5

Reminds me of that old magnetic football game where you place the players on the metal field and turn on the power to watch them vibrate toward each other until the Quarterback breaks through for a touchdown. For this game, I agree with other comments that formations need to be saved. Also, maybe Fight Mode would be more interesting if set per soldier. The game was interesting for a couple of missions, but was repetitive so I stopped playing.

maybe I jsut don't get it but it seems really simple with little skill involved meaning a pretty dull long drawn out game.

i agree with dronekill. the game is way too easy. another thing i found annoying is that it's not possible to swap troops, so to put the higher lvl pikes in front you have to leave one field of the stage area blank to sort around.

tricky.. no.. draggy.. yes..
a few point to improve on. allow the game to remember your formation so that it will not be so irritating to move ever troop to the location you want. it get irritating when you have got like 30++ units. plus at least let teh game remember where you last view teh map before going into battle. it suckx everytime to have to go back to the map i want to conquer. . overall. a game that can keep improving
