First 9 levels can be beaten EASILY, even on the Admiral difficulty. Upgrade only number of pirates on your ship, discarding all others updates. Swim next to the ships and capture them with your pirates. You will get all gold plus 2500 gold of bonus for saving all ammo. I haven't figured out how to beat next levels yet :)

The map doesn't work like i think it should. It tells me that I'm moving through the levels, but I feel like the different ship icons should light up for each level. Instead I seem to just stay in the spot for the first battle

Kind of laggy, but for now I'm going to blame my crappy computer. =P
The gameplay is okay, but I hate the controls. Also, The ships that start to fight you can move backwards, which seriously makes the game harder. Anway, nice job! 3/5

Very nice game, but cannons are ANNOYING... you don't know wich side will fire the cannons at any moment... The fact that enemies stick at you and can move backwards it's a little troublesome yoo, so 4/5

A good concept ruined by some serious issues. Lag, The fact that enemies stick at you and can move backwards (while you can't..). Also is repetitive and yes it's hard, seriously hard. 2/5

This is how to win on Admiral mode: first upgrade your crew. Then upgrade your reload speed and damage. Then upgrade your cannons. Then upgrade your turn and sail speed. Do NOT upgrade hull as it makes your ship a bigger, easier target. For the entire game up until the final boss, you should mostly be boarding enemy ships rather than shooting them. For the final boss, do not board any ships until the boss ship appears. Try to preserve your crew. When he does appear, board him immediately, and you should be able to kill him and the one or two henchmen ships that appear after. - Seems to work.

This is by far one of my favorite games on Kongregate. I love the gameplay and the graphics go just fine with the style, but I have noticed I lag a slight amount.

This game is freaking awesome. I may just be a pirate/naval fanatic, but this is seriously an excellent flash adaptation of a lot of nautical games. Less complicated, of course, but still extremely enjoyable. 5/5. Would buy again.

The last battle is pretty easy, just max out your crew, shot-sink the escort first when flag ship shows up sink the two from the escort and then just board it 120 pirates > 500 sailors :)

did you see the save button? it's a rectangle, but with rounded edges, and it says "SAVE". try clicking on it if you feel like saving your game.

when set the quality to the lowest i mean the lowest for everything it lags even more. i tried on 3 computer on this. the QUALITY of this game is lowest of all games ive play

I just completed level 8 doing nothing but boarding ships and upgrading the number of pirates I have. I guess I'll need to start shooting next round... good thing I have 150,000 saved up for those upgrades.

Just upgrade pirates ONLY for the first half of the game, and don't fire a single shot. I just passed the first 7 levels in Admiral this way, made tons of money, bought even more pirates.

Tips : when u go from horizontal to vertical, tab space once to see if you're firing the right direction. You don't wanna waste 30 cannons to shoot into the ocean

Cmler- yes, until you destroy the flagship. If you destroy all the other ships without boarding them you can capture the last flagship.
