Dude! You just completed the Bloody Buccaneer achievement in Treasure of Cutlass Reef and won the Bloody Buccaneer badge and 5 points!

at first i thought this game is very good, but then i realized that you just have to go to the top and level up pirates to defeat almost all levels, and you even get a bonus for being boring and not firing shots. argh...

Last level is damn near impossible and it should say that the enemy ships are indefinite because you defeat the 13, then you face the flagship and more come on during.

I would say I have a good comp and broadband connection but... even then the damn lag when theres more than 5 ships on board... >:¬ (

Anyone beat level 12 on Admiral difficulty? I restarted the levels and tried being really precise on my shooting to get the accuracy bonus - to get more money - but still haven't beaten him yet.

I agree with molongal, because as the game is it gets really repetitive and while the concept is top notch the monotony kind of kills it. I still gave it a 5/5 though, because I did enjoy myself while playing.

I like the concept of the game, though there is a lot of room for improvement. For one the AI should be more balanced. However a few idea's for a perhaps a future release could be when taking over a ship by boarding, you could assign pirates to that ship, then suddenly you have 2 ships. By the end of the level you could have a whole fleet.

This seems like a good game, and the idea of a cool pirate game certainly drew me in. Then you play the game. The first 9 levels can be completed by just sailing into the top and sitting you ship there. Each level takes about a minute to win, which is merciful. You even get bonuses for doing this and not firing a shot. Then, on level 10, suddenly this strategy doesn't work anymore, and you have to actually shoot at the enemy. This is where the boredom really sets in. The ships have so much HP it takes an interminably long time to destroy them, and you run out of ammo fast. If you didn't tech properly, then you have to restart. Feh.

Yeah, the whole "move sideways, backwards, diagonally, hell just make a 3-point turn in reverse" thing has gotten old. Guess I'm not cool-enough to figure it out and there are too many other games around here that are actually well-balanced in gameplay.

Decent game but I can't beat the 12 level on admiral..
I hate it that the ships simply corner you and all board you, and when you try to evade they can go in reverse. It doesn't make sense that a computer has an unfair advantage...
2/5.

Pretty easy even on admiral but pretty good too. Only stage I had to repeat was the very last one. Music would be nice. 4/5

I had fun playing this game! Only thing I'd change (so far) in the future is make the cannonballs a little easier to see. Good work though!
