This game is a dick. One fight you're doing good, and out of nowhere they just freak out on you and don't let you up. WTF dude. it's a good game, old time fav, but thts the downfall

Well I've been playing street fighter for years at the arcade. The Snes and arcade have very little differences. And yet this is easy for me. Maybe cause I always play everything on hard and whenever I play SF I always toggle the hard mode.

I have the 3rd one on my Psp and being double teamed by Bison was pretty annoying. Anyway this one is pretty good too. Wish it had more characters though like E.Ryu or S.Akuma.

wot difficuly is this on coz it seiously takes the piss the first battleson easy then it goes to extreme WTF i have been playin street fighter for years on my snes so it should be easy for me L0L

The AI seems a bit dumber than usual.
I was just playing this on my psp with Capcom collection, it was a lot smoother there. Here it lacks speed, the needs to preform moves, and various things. But it's FREE!

Control Tips:
The combos aren't exactly as pictured there. To execute a combo you had to do a circular motion with the joystick. Ryu's hadoken is a quarter of a circle, from bottom to right (if you are on the left side). Most other combos follow the exact same pattern. It's extremely easy once you get it.
Fighting Tips:
Dhalsim is only good at a distance keep close.
Zangief is good at grappling so keep jumping.
Chunli jumps around all the time, wait until she is coming down and use a hook or something similar (every character has an effective move against aerial)
Ryu just loves to hadoken your face, but the hadoken is a move that leaves you just standing there unprotected for a good while. Get your timing right and jump over the hadoken to kick him in the face like the little bitch he is.

I finally beat the whole game. The only way I was able to do it was by using M. Bison and spamming Psycho Crusher on the higher levels. For more tips, pm me.
