i can OWN every single computer player on marvel vs. capcom with ryu on max difficulty, but on this game, i lost on the second level.....

Imperfect for sure. Balrog does not buffer properly with a key board for some reason (or just my settings). Try holding 3p -> to anything... it locks up the ability to do non twitch manuevers.

I'm on an Aspire One netbook in ubuntu 10.04, the game is very lagged. I noticed that in linux the lag is greater, but still its very lagged.

classic game indeed.. reminds me of my childhood days.. very easy game.. i chose ryu.. reaching at zangief.. i defeated him by grabing him and throwing him at floor.. this is the only strategy that works.. while defeating vega, let me say its not easy to defeat her with ryu, so i chose her duplicate.. stone cuts stone.. so i carried vega as my hero till end, and finaly defeating m.bison.

quite a good game. To beat the first few people use sagat to choose your character navigate using the arrow keys and win!

good tactic is pick vega hold down then tap s. he has got insane reach so they cant get close. if they jump let go of down then move back or press s you can get perfect rounds. not very fun though. great game classic

i used to have this game for the super mario nentendo i first got it at 2004 then it got broke at 2006 innaway this is awsome

How to navigate the ? mark page. When performing an attack such as Ha-Do-Ken, all you really have to do is press down, then over the direction you want it performed. Depending on what button you press, "S,D,or F" the fire ball will change speeds. This is pretty much the same for any long range combo attack including some human projectile attacks Ex. Honda's sumo headbutt. What the 2" means is that you have to hold that attack for 2 seconds, before moving on to the rest of the combo. Also, to do Vega's backflip, you just have to press the right or left button "depending how your facing them" twice. Hope this helps :D

from what I can tell the + means in sequence while no + means at the same time. Vega's Backflip never worked for me that I could tell or Zangief's move either. I got most of the moves to work that are just combinations.
Here is my question: What exactly does 2" mean?????? I have never gotten any of these moves to work right. This makes have of the characters useless. Can someone explain the secret to this? Thanks.

In this version about three of the characters are boss characters and they are also renamed.( Vega's real name is Balrog, Balrog's real name is M. Bison, with the M. standing for Mike{ they had to change it for copyright infringement with Mike Tyson] and so on and so forth)

It's difficult to do Hadoken when there is no DIAGONAL INPUT! What's worse, is the comp is a bigger spammer than any scrub on SFVI...

Well i like this game..i played a lot on my BEL-GAME console:-) But this time is a little bit too hard for me...
For example with Balrog, Ryu kompletle lock me with spamming hadoken or his energy shoot.

Pretty solid, the combos are rather challenging to engage, but once you do them a few times, you get the hang of it. I wish there was a quality chooser, as my machine is rather slow.
The lowest of low quality would make this game much smoother.

Nice... The Aura Blast.... I mean, Hadoken works just fine, too. ('Aura Blast' is one of Sabin's 'Blitzes' in Final Fantasy 6. The command for using it is really just the same, though there's no 'Diagonal key' unless the number pad works)
