Tedious and boring. It took me more 2.5 levels with 120% score modifier to get to 5000 points. Anybody who gets 50,000 points in this game has more patience than I do right now (though I guess I could whittle away at it).

Easy way to get the card: 3 warriors (in front row), 1 ranger in back row. Highest difficulty with all difficulty settings on. Explore every non-monster tile on Floor 1 that you can, and battle a couple of weak groups of enemies. Go to Floor 2 and do the same. All in all, takes about 10 minutes.

Pop, that is a blatant lie. Even if you just kept descending, I doubt that you would be lucky enough to never have to fight.

well mr. smartie pants reggy...obviously you have not tried playing the survival mode which just keeps going and going.....and DOES NOT save your progress so you can go back to it. I am at wave 26 and have had enough.
THAT'S THE HELL WHY for me anyway

This is a fair update to the game. I liked the added items, improved interface and the concept of a store. There were 2 more classes but I didn't feel they added much to the experience. The difficulty of the game was increased, which served only to make it more annoying and less fun. Overall it just feels like I'm playing the same old game with some minor improvements. The main problem is that the game gets insanely boring after a while and no attempt was made to fix that. So, if you were sick of Monsters Den, you are sick of this before you even sit down to play. I wanted to see new monsters and features right off the bat to get me re-interested, not buried on lower levels of the new campaign. Like its predecessor, the hard badges force you to play FAR past the point where the game stops being enjoyable. One of the most boring games on Kongregate.

One of my favorite games. Much better than first, but I found conjurer to become worthless fairly quickly as the game progressed and had the worst passive skills.

Very fun game, if you have trouble with survival, conjure, improved heal w/extra heals cleric, poison buff ranger, and cleave/bloodthirst warrior worked really well. Make sure everyone has power regen gear and the warrior has vampiric drain, his cleaves will full-heal him

The Legendary Monsters randomisation needs a bit of tweaking. I got three Legendaries within the first 6 levels on one game...
@franco: Depends what it says. Gift of Magic gives you an Enchantment Orb to boost your items. Temporary to Permanent gives you a potion that boosts stats. Mundane becomes Legendary changes a white border item (not grey) into a purple item.
@TFTD: I don't know really. It's what works for you best. However, I recommend you stick a Cleric in there without thinking twice to heal your characters.

@Jokester: The retreat-and-rest option is still here, but (as in the original MD) only if you defeated all 10 groups of monsters on the previous level.
@Andrei: The person you quoted might have been playing the new campaign, which doesn't have a fixed number of levels. Instead, it ends when the player creates the journeyman's stone out of 9 glowing stone fragments (received in certain battles). For many players, it has gone on several levels longer than necessary, as they collected the fragments but didn't know they had to double-click the stack of 9 to assemble the stone.

"Has anyone finished the campaign? I mean I’m on level 78 and I’m wondering if it actually does end."
the campaign doesn't actually end. after u beat the corruptor, u play the infinite mode

Terrific game. Just one thing I'm not liking that much, you took out the thing where you can go back one level and rest all your people to full power and health. That's the only flaw I think. 4/5 :)
