Ok... it is long...Here is some details:
1. Learn power siphon and power problem solved. 6 mobs party in lvl 9 is very common.
2. Try to explore as much as possible, and kill small party and 1 big party.
3. Maybe you didnt equip power regen item? You need it, even in battle you didnt benefit from it.
4. For the 1st time, i use some special potion which i never use at normal mode, that is resistance potion, quickness potion(only against orc axe thrower, but since you has problem with corruptor, save for it) and poison resist potion(poison drake is nothing!).

Kiraice, you didnt read my comment... maybe it is too long and boring. I will write again, in short(i try). POWER SIPHON(this skill is useful, make sure you learn it before lvl 9) solve the problem, at 1st i has this trouble but i manage to get it at my 2nd try. Power siphon is really important at this difficulty. And quickness, well, even in normal mode i has my mage 70 quickness. But of course, not in this mode, but my 4 mage(3 maybe, cant remember, what i sure is i 1 turn kill that corruptor) manage faster than corruptor. It is not hard to get this fast, just need 10(maybe 5? corruptor is not fast at all) more quickness. Even he make image, you move 1st before the image, unless you have same quickness with corruptor, and electrical storm wont kill you in 1 turn, no reason to worry about it. But the freeze will, if you has poison.

the same goes for any 4 same team you can't get quiver if you don't have ranger,
you can't get censers if you don't have cleric etc etc...

wat does intellect do on a cleric?nothing?? cuz i have a barbarian rouge warrior and cleric and im not sure if i should just sell intellect orbs or put them on the cleric

Try this. 1. -extreme -hardcore -tactical -attrition. 2. all mage team. (With all rogue team I conquer this challenge without real difficulty. because rogue imbaness, but it isn't easy, either.)

@money8giver8: look a several pages before, please. Actually I am the first one who said 4 mage team is better the 4 rogue team. But when you're doing this setting, -extreme -hardcore -tactical -attrition. Sorry, I don't believe there is a chance to beat this game. If you have interests in this challenge, why don't you try it and see what happens? I think you'll know what I'm arguing about.

@Entlee: youtube.com/watch?v=DtWEQxhscNM , take a look and I think you'll know why I have doubt. I can take down corruptor in extreme difficulty from start a new team to end just about 40 mins. However, it is totally irrelevant to what "difficulty" we talking about. What you are talking about is beginning to be suspicious. 1. you still didn't explain how you maintain your over-using mana. in corruptor level I tried using all potions and shrine to clear all mobs to meet him is still impossible. 2. Corrupt is FASTER than you. 3. Even 1 of your image has the potential to kill your whole team, if it has electrical storm.

Money8giver8, he is talking about 4 mage team in extreme mode with all score modifier on is viable or not. Btw, has you read the comment about dracula tooth from rxc? He say that it is a dagger with 50% vampire effect, it is true?

Kiraice, it is possible, and i make it. Unfortunately, no proof, you can choose to not believe my word. For corruptor, well, if you has 2 mage has sword, ensorclled blade will take his hp about 1/4(can be even less than this if you get lucky). He wont get a chance to make image. Or you just simply drain his power if you cant beat him. 4 mage drain 80 power...The last lvl is a challenge but power siphon solve the problem(need vampire effect too) as 6mobs party in 9th lvl is very common...For some reason, this 4 mage party is very hard at den of terror, the last boss pawn them easily(and i get to something like 16th lvl, i get some good equipment, but very hard to beat.)@ And warrior defiance, i once say the same thing too. With ranger nature balm + warrior adreline, and over 30 power regain, only human has the power to kill you. Of course, at that point i believe the battle will be very boring and damn long.

Actually there is a way to kill all mobs and never die. With 100% both poison and stun resist, and high HP regeneration, 30 mana regain, and as high damage reflection as possible. When these all set using warrior's skill defiance in every turn. Quite strange but a working playing style. This role can combine with barbarian because they have another strange skill Intimidate.

Oh, forget to say. In corruptor level players have to kill all mobs in the map before fight him. That always makes me run out of potions. So I still think it is impossible.

Also "Very Nimble Gloves" has 10% lethality. But the problem is something after. If you had Omega Helm, it reduced 5 quickness. If you had retribution "Tower Shield", it is even slower. With very high lethality but slow makes them useless. I am still trying to balance them to a real useful set. Quickness 65 seems a must. :P

@Entlee: I don't believe you, show me some proves at least. A video or image. there is no way to play in your way. I've even try your theory and plus avoid. 1 or 2 fights are enough to bring all mage team to death in the impossible mode. I've tried and found it is impossible. So I have reasonable doubt how you do it. Do you see that dracula's dagger rumor? I hope you don't become one of them. Also for there is a noticeable fact. Corrupt always use image if he has mana. 1 of your mage image is enough to kill all of your team. I had this in none tactical but all other setting mode. Double tries are not enough? Well, I know your saying is questionable.

Legend drop orange(you may thought it is gold, i dont know) item... I never see a chest drop an orange item though... Lagressa, the item drop is depend on your character class... no rogue = no dagger, no ranger = no quiver, no cleric= no cencer, etc etc.

.... i have not fought orcs since the last lvl 45... im on lvl 53 they are hiding and i keep getting "130% damage to orcs" items.........

I hope im not just lucky, anyone else roll around with all mages, or even all clothies, and only have cloth and rings and such drop, no higher armor?

gold weapons and armor only appear in the den of corruption. AND THEY PWN! level 17 and i have an axe that does 900 dmg :D
