Lol, this is basically my version of "Just Chatting" :D Oh, and if you don't have the profiteer achievement, make sure you have the money to buy something that won't send you under 10k, and buy it. Achievement get.

The minotaur has a bunch of legendary items! I got a high five glove, a legendary staff, a minotaur horn, and a minotaur axe.

um... i worked my butt off for 5 hours and when i finally beat lvl 40 on surival, NO ACHIEVEMENT. this is just great...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Bart, the reason it getting easier is because you can learn passive ability, your character combat lvl is getting higher, but after lvl 50, where you stop getting skill upgrade, well, it become just like 1 lvl for a while. Enjoy it :) And the item you get and equip is more complete, more orange item, like robe of afflication. But, well, still can lose though. Full hp and power face a human boss party at over lvl 200, that melee boss void cannon, double kill...

i have a warrior and tree rangers, they keep backuping my warrior and even if him dies, they have good health regeneration so the party still wins, im level 14 already :D its a very good game lol

@ Entlee - what you describe is not 'keeping up' but 'catching up' - I only played up to lvl 50, then the freak accident occurred and my team got killed (I could have fled, but I wanted to see if I could make it ;P). So I don't know about lvls 100+, but between 15 and 50 my team was never in any real danger (I play the 281% version). So if you want to keep it really hard, reduce the insta-kill-percentages.

Made it to wave 116 (beat 115, died on 116) on survival. I used a cleric, ranger, warrior, and conjurer. I was doing pretty well until the point where the dwarf crossbows could kill my war golem with a single shot. Defense is king!

This game is good(best if you ask me). Don't complain too much, although i admit it has many place can be improved, but hey, you can do better than this? If can, go create and upload at kong and i will sure play it. If no, just leave a shout to garin and let him know what your idea is.

BartJ385, the monster is keeping up ur lvl, but i must admit, it will get easy and easier after lvl 10 until about lvl 100. But however, monster dmg is getting higher and higher(if you notice), eventually, they can 1 hit kill. One of the example is dwarf crossbowman. If you notice, their dmg is getting higher and higher. 1st time encounter, their dmg is about 20-30% of ur hp, n times encounter, about lvl 200, their dmg is over 50% hp. This means that no matter what character you use(except warrior using defiance), they can 2 hit ko about lvl 200. Note: each lvl i has my character up 1 endurance. For those no put point in it,at lvl 101, hp is 400 lower, lvl201 is 800 lower. Wraith, which dmg is so high that at lvl 200, can 1 hit kill. For me is about 20% hp left. >.< So monster is keeping up with your lvl.

I realise this game is governed by personal style, but here is a party that works well for me. front row= Cleric, Rogue 2nd row Ranger, Mage. I max out on as many items that regenerate hit points, my Rogue, Mage, and Ranger all are maxed out on vampiric weapons and the cleric has massive damage reflection. This way the characters' attack is simultaneous with their defence. Ranger's Nature's Balm is my most often used skill. Use rogue and either mage or ranger to assassinate anoying spell casters before they can cast spells. also when you have massive regenerate on all chars you can play a waiting game at the end of a fight to let your guys heal up before finishing the battle; means you are fresh for next fight (clerics call down holy light is invaluable for this tactic) :-)

well amner, i've also run out of money (about 3 items away from finishing or so) but that's probably because i try to replace what i've already purchased with something better when i see it. My problem is not being able to revive people well enough (i use a conjuror and a cleric as well as a ranger and a mage) because i use my cleric as a tank, then when he dies my others start dying too and my conjuror can't keep up =(

Considering the gear thats available isnt really groundbreaking... you honestly should have more money available when you start "The Fall of Telunos" I dont like not being able to fully gear out everyone in blues

temp become perament make cetain item be unequipped but stats stay( not weapon attack or quicknees just the 4 basic stats)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
random, and maybe stupid question; what does the special 'temporary becomes permenant' do? ive tried checking numerous things, but i cant tell what it does....

What the ... I finally found a guest fighter 'Hamish the Adventurer', and in the first fight he was at full health, and the enemies were killed before dealing a single blow to anyone. But then I got the message "he succumbed". What did I do wrong? He was at full health, should I have put a healing spell on him anyways?

This is a good game insofar as one is figuring it out. Once it has been figured out it can become a little repetitive and I had accumulated over 20 "lure legend" and wanted to fight them to use it and it was not difficult to fight one after another.
It can be tough to balance the game play without making it too strict for creativity to flourish.
My little cousin played the first version and he managed to advance some levels without customizing his characters in any way and hardly knowing what it was all about. Once he played this second version he got stuck early on given it became a little mandatory to go shopping on this second version.
I really like the turn based way so I can stop/resume playing anywhere. But after a week at it I am done. ;-)

I don't understand how this is a good game. The first levels are very hard, but once you made it past level 10 you can only lose by some freak accident. The only thing that separates you from level 100 then is sheer time. - If you want to make this a good game, make sure that the monsters can keep up with the heroes in higher levels, and give us follow-up tasks. What is so hard about putting a boss in every 10th level or so?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@Wila: Be happy, THAT they do, otherwise it would get freakin hard... Now you only need some smart buffs and a de-debuffing cleric (Benediction ability, not to mention Purify).
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Stats I use is strengh for warrior, strengh for cleric, intellect for mage and dexterity for ranger.
At the beginning making money for the shopping is quite tough, but later one you can accumulate millions without having anything to spend it on.
Thanks for the game. Good luck.

Cloths and rings that refill 20%, 50% or even 100% of health/power helps a lot going from battle to battle without having to think of refilling them.
Some special boots give you cool stats alongside 14 of quickness so warrior+cleric+ranger can use that help to keep it over 60 of quickness.
I have beaten all those monsters and dwarves in great fashion but I am a little tired of the game already. I think I am well over level 70 on the second version.

Ranger uses multiple arrows on every monster at the same time to weaken them. Cleric anoints the mage who uses electrical storm on every monster to kill most or all of them. The warrior kills any remaining monster. The cleric can anoint the warrior so the warrior uses that three strikes when he is quicker to drain all the health from the most powerful monsters. So the cleric usually does not fight, but I give him all the strength to do so. The head of the gorgon that stuns can be used by the cleric to stun the monsters with over 95% of chance if set up right with 25% stunning magical weapons. It's useful to stun the heads of the hydra without killing them otherwise more heads means a harder time getting it done.
Nice to have is more accuracy for the multiple arrows of the ranger.
The warrior helps a lot without a shield and having the minotoure's strongest twohanded weapon.

Hey all. I played the first version and this second one and I found them pretty entertaining. I had to unlearn deleting the unused items and going to the shop to sell and buy during the second version and I really enjoyed the easier moving around of the second version.
From the first version I learned to appreciate the warrior+cleric+mage+ranger setup and I would not use the rogue given he would get fewer weapons and would be less useful.
One of the useful tools for all characters is "quickness" so you get to kill the monsters before they get to hit you once most of the time.

tip on how 2 beat dead lord ( was death till i got him) get moves like cleave this way his men fall fast
if u rave ranger get him a bow and use peirce on the lord. kill him fast he drains life and revives men use the shrines that say a gift of magic and keep their orbs till b4 the last fight each orb has cool abiltys

Nice tactic mlstdragon ^^
But i allowed myself to replace mage with conjuror :D On that way, you aren't screwed up if you loose the cleric (the reviver) since conjuror can do same, and additional Wargolem+Natures Balm+Aegis is a pretty fine defensive wall against chargers and stupid enemy targeting ^^

I got to 76 on survival. Its not really all that difficult. First attempt, though I did clear a dungeon scenario before trying survival.
Did it with warrior, cleric, mage and ranger.
Thing to keep in mind when picking classes and skills are that the buffs tend to be "lasts the remainder of the battle" ... which is the entire thing in survival.
Warrior was sword and shield, adrenaline rush, inspire, cleave, bloodlust.
Cleric was pure support (sold the weapon even, to get another piece of armor) with holy light, purify, resurrect, heal and the group heal.
Mage was Freeze, cosmic prison, thunder, the shield spell and the dmg reflect spell.
Ranger had pierce, arrow shower, poison shot, pin and the regen/poison resist buff.
Arranged warrior in front, other 3 in back, prioritize poison / vampiric gear if available, followed by hp regen. Fully buffed my guys heal a third of their hp bar every turn. :p
