Survival is a little bit boring. I am on wave 56. Every once in a while I have a hard fight, but not really that often. Every time one of my guys or wargolems die, it is so tedious. Pass. Pass. Pass. Buff. Buff. Pass Pass. Pass. Pass. Buff. Pass. Pass x22. Buff. Pass x56. Passy Pass Pass Passtastic. Aaaannd kill the last dude. I am not sure whether the guys are getting harder, although they have stayed at level 12 ever since I started paying attention. I don't really forsee not being able to make it through a wave, it just seems like a test of endurance (mine, not the characters, they are fine)

Ok, for all those guys who can't figure out the survival badge... here's the trick.
You know all those buffs? The one battle only buffs? Well guess what, the whole thing is treated as one battle. So use whatever party you want as long as no barb, and use their permanent buffs at the beginning of the turn. You should be fine until around level 30, easy.

@gogos thats impossible. you should be getting about 2-4 purple i.e. unique items. the shop also usually has at least 1-2 purple items to buy and money is never a problem as long as u sell everything that u dont need in your inventory

great game, although in 24 levels i played i found no purple items... whatever!

ok those of you who have gotten the survival badge, what party did you use? I have use a variety of different parties and can't get past wave 16!

Fix the flipping accuracy.
I have 95% accuracy and I missed 3 times in a row with my archer [on hardcore, level 9, on standard] and I FLIPPING LOST. Game is highly effected by luck.

I had really good luck with 2 pure end clerics and 2 pure dex rangers. if you can set it up right with anoint and hail of arrows you can kill almost any party in one round. 2 clerics is also nice, because you can revive, then immediately heal if needed.

i have a variety pack strategy, a worrior rogue barbarian and a conjurer.that way no matter what purple item i get SOMEONE can equip it!the strategy part is that my worrior protects,my rogue kill,my barbarian weakens,and my conjurer heals.by the way all of you who ingore rogues, please try them they are halarious and awsome.

i have 5 master strategies its impossible, i got to level 45 on the first at max difficulty. Its impossible, note I also said clear every single enemy from every floor, thats a must i wont leave enemies or avoid them.

@ DharkX: No it isn't. With the right strategy anyone can beat extreme hardcore. Note that the original MD extreme is MDBOD's extreme hardcore.

Squishybrik, Stacking poison onto the Hydra body is the way to go. If your rogue has a Pestilence Blade and a decent number of points in Poisoncraft then I recommend using the dagger & Sneak Attack. Otherwise use a bow and Poison.
Blind the heads as much as you can.
