Here's a tip:
MUNDANE BECOMES EXTRAORDINARY - White bordered objects become purple bordered [NOTE: not the gray bordered, the white bordered, you'll see what I'm saying in game...]
THE GIFT OF MAGIC - It gives you a purple bordered ORB.
[NOTE: I'd use the orb on a purple weapon/armour]
TEMPORARY BECOMES PERMANENT - It gives you an orange bordered potion that gives you skills, whatever character you use that potion on, they permanently gain those skill points. [NOTE: Usually, it gives +5 strength and +5 endurance]

IMO the first one was better, with just extreme and hardcore the game is infact impossible to clear every enemy in every floor without dying. That is stupid and a game shouldnt be made where you cant accomplish everything on every difficulty. Oh well.

Mundane becomes extraordinary makes a normal item which is a white outline become a rare item which is outlined in purple afterwards

I think the super spelunking badge has got the best of me. I'm only at ~30,000 points and I'm just too bored to keep going. There should be more quests or something to mix it up. Otherwise, it's a lot like Progress Quest, except that at least PQ plays itself. Also, I read that someone else here is up to level 133! Holy crap...

hey is there a special strategy for killing the hydra?i have a worrior, rogue, barb, and a conjurer and im having trouble here

Try playing at 338% difficulty. You'll find yourself using scrolls to get through monster groups, running away from battles, etc.
They really should add an impossible badge which requires you to beat the boss on 338% difficulty. I haven't been able to do it yet (best I've done is level 7).

ok i found out what the orb of enhancement does. Assuming you have a weapon that gives 1000 damage, 20 hp regen and 10strength. using the orb of enhancement:+10% will make your weapon have 1100 damage, 22 hp regen, 11 strength. i just bought this...arggh crazy wicked barb melee spear weapon that (after the 10% orb of enhancement) have 1391 damage, 11% lethality, 132 poison damage on hit, +17 chance to hit, -8 quickness. my previous weapon gave 700 damage, and now my damage jumped from 1400+ to 2113, while my 2nd highest damage is my ranger at 1500+ lol gayness too bad i had to give up my 1300 defence shield

lol my cleric has been using a minotaur horn for 25 levels mostly due to it being able to replenish 30% of hp and power after every battle, with +4 int, 4 power regen, 18 hp regen, 30% stun resist, +15 chance to hit and instant retreat (though i dont think anyone uses retreat right?). the most gay equips are the ones that replenish hp and power after every battle - my cleric has 30%, mage and ranger both have 50%. so basically you will NEVER run out of power so every battle my ranger always uses hail of arrows+mage electric field and the monsters are all almost dead xD

i just used Mundane Becomes Extraordinary, and i got a a censer with 24 health regen. 75% reduced damage from poison and increases effect of healing abbilities by 360!!!

just wondering i have 2 orbs gotten from the blue colour shrines. one says "orb of replenishment" and has replenishment:+20%. the other is an orb of enhancement. enhancement:+10%. both are unique items. what do they do?

oh and when u proceed to the next level and it says that the denizens plot together and scheme, there will be a party with 2 "bosses" with 4 other random monsters, and beating that party gives 1 super item thats kinda like the ones u get from legendary creatures, i think it appears once every 10 battles or so and i've just gotten another staff of destiny for my mage that has 675 damage compared to 519 on my current staff with 400% resistance vs humans, 15 end, 15 int, 48hp regen, 10 quickness though its kinda redundant given my 50% hp and power regen at the end of each battle

no im not joking, its not that difficult, i guess its based on some luck but lots of ppl probably have even better equip. my ranger just got this weapon thats 666 damage, +8dex, 77poison damage, +30 chance to hit which makes my hail of arrows super accurate. i have ranger gloves with 9end, 7dex, 17hp regen and a crazy stalker's boots with 103armor, 7 end, 12dex, 21hpregen. oh and i just bought a second mystic infusing robe from the shop so now my mage and ranger replenish 50% hp and power at the end of every battle xD

I use the variety pack.Worrior, rogue, barbarian, and conjurer.it's a true challenge at the first few levels btu when you get them leveled up they should pwn...i hope...i never got that far with them kuz they die too much.

snookajam:HOLY CRAPOLA!!!Are you serious??Where did you get those weapons? Are they only on igher levels or something?

Cadex:Rangers are ONLY better than rogues kuz they have range, witch rogues can have.and conjurers are better than mages kuz they still have magic attack but they can cast defense adn can summon allies, witch can heal HP AND MP.and attack-wize rogue beats all with the fact that all 4 stats help them. Not to mention rogues can use a bow.

just got a foe-piercer ranged weapon from a hydra. at level 29 - 641 damage, 4 end, 12 dex, 30% stun, 10% kill. gives my ranger 1067 damage while my 2nd highest damage is my mage who already has an extra 53 int just from equipment and does 787 damage.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
man some of the equipment that the monsters give are really overpowered, stuff like my mage's mystic infusing robe that replenishes 50%hp and power at the end of every battle with 2endurance,5int, 4power regen let you character never run out of power, or my mage's staff of destiny thati 've been using for 10 levels(picked up at 18) 343 damage, 400% normal damage resist vs humans, 9 end, 12 int, 27 hp regen, 10quickness

I think the alters that are special give you special enchantment orbs. one gave a character permanent +5 str/end. for example.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I use a warrior for attack and walling, a cleric for healing and extra walling, mage for heavy ranged damage, and a rouge for archery because of his poisoncraft. the rouge and mage are behind the warrior and cleric.
Oh, and head to the bottom left hand corner when it asks you about your quest in the beginning to change which quest you take.

actually it does use up potions. It will still give you a red if you have no potions, but if you have extra it will give you more in exchange for them.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
there is a false rumor flying around that the potion alter thing turns a temp potion into a perm potion..IT DOES NOT...it just makes one or two on its own,so dont be afraid if you have no pots,it does it anyway..but as for the other(weapon) one i think that one might be true...

Survival mode is too easy... i wish there was a harder one.
Ranger- max out intellect, use healing buff on all
Mage- use flickering flames on everyone to reflect all damage take and make him/her use arcane shield on self.
Warrior- Use inspire for damage buff and have adrenaline for health buff
Cleric- for healing if needed
See? way too easy with this setup. Conjerours actally aren't very good looking at these guys.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
trying with a ranger, a warrior, a cleric and a summoner...
ranger can provides infinite healing and more quickness, summoner give a buff on defense...
two guys to ress, in case of one dying
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@modlovecat: I had issues with survival too... I recomend Warrior, priest, conj, and ranger.
Make sure everyone has "Untill end of battle skills" and make sure the ranger is MAX intel. (so his heal buff is as big as possible)
The last key is figuring out who to kill the last guy, so so start the order in correct spot.. (because it just keeps looping)
