98 HP regain with 94% damage resistance to face the end boss "The corrupter" is cheat. (BOSS said: Yous are mine and mine is mine. COPY ALL. lol)

In cleric situation he is still busy healing and therefore always dealing 0 damage per turn. Also when the heal effects are 50 regain vs 200 instant, anyone can see why Nature's Balm is better, because HP maximum is so limited. A 200 instant heal can do a considerate waste every turn. After 4 turns(Or say 5) Rangers is freed from healing task, heal does automatically, ranger can do whatever she wants to do. I neither think mana pool is always full. Cleric's heal almost "ends" in 4th turn. think about it.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Using cleric's heal is hard to apply wait and regain method in every battle ending since it is a one time only heal. And as I said, bots act strange. They like to separate attacks rather than focus fire on only one target. If you use cleric's heal, when they attack all 4 team members (and they always do) you still need heal 4 times. How can only one cleric heal all team members and deal damage in the same time? His skill "Heall All" is not the solution.

@Entee: Suppose 1st cast Nature's Balm gets 10 HP regain and 1st Heal is 40 HP. In the point of view everyone may think heal is 4 times stronger than Nature's Balm. But in fact it is not. Think about the 2nd cast Nature's Balm heals 20 HP per turn. 3rd is 30, and 4th is 40, and no need to cast more in the rest of battle. Which means in a long run Nature's Balm is far more superior than heal.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Cleric heal is far more superior, how on earth a +50hp regen(in 4-5 lvl maybe) can be more superior than instant heal 150 hp? And giv everyone a nature balm... You just giv up ur strong aoe att... Maybe you playing survivor mode?? You take 4 turn to cast this spell instead of take them down in 2 turn...

This is by far my favorite game on this site so far. I'm pretty new to the game, only on dungeon level 11 right now, and in fact trying to catch up to my boyfriend who suddenly surpassed me when I had to work, but it's definitely addictive. My party is a Warrior, Barbarian, Mage, and Ranger. My boyfriend uses a Cleric, and while I do sometimes wish I had his healing/revival spells, my party's raw damage potential seems to be outclassing his and I'm able to kill fast enough for the extra healing to be unnecessary. My warrior mainly uses Execute or Cleave, while my Barbarian's charge can often one-shot enemies. My Ranger has her 10% instant kill attack with high damage, and the healing spells, and the Mage usually uses Freeze if I need the stun, or Electrical Storm to hurt everyone. Maybe I'll be totally screwed in a few levels, but for now it's working out well.

You can use the The Emporium Preferred Customer Badge once per floor, lalewyth (in contrast to the Lure which you can only use once).

@kota: What's the difference between 2 and 3 char in second line? Conjuror still can be the 1st target and died very soon. I just don't get the reason why bots don't target and focus on her first. Also to revive character is not hard except in the battle.

The Emporium Preferred Customer Badge. Is this one time use, or can buy one and use over and over (limited to once per floor)?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
im just gonna use the team i use in the regular dungeons. a cleric, warrior, ranger and conjurer. i usually get to around wave 28-34 before i die XD

@Kota8899
I don't think there is a 100% working plan. But thanks to AI, they always try to NOT kill my team members. I don't know the reason, but it makes me have a lot of advantages to concentrate healing over turns.
And usually when my conjuror have to die, bots all died already or I have some immortals on the field. They usually have more then 4x HP regain in only level 4 to 6. (items regain+ nature's balm) The front line worrior usually have more than 60 HP regain in that period.
Why don't you try to use revive as the second plan after HP regain plan failed?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Conjuror is very versatile. First she'll get Revive in level 2, this skill allows team surviving much better. Eldritch Aegis, 15% damage resistance for all team in the remainder of battle is extreme abusive for me. After this 2 core skills I choose a banish, wargolem and augment health. Actually it is because I found there is nothing good in the rest, so I choose them arbitrary. Conjuror with revive and eldritch aegis are already very good.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
My team is a warrior (all endurance) in the front row center, and conjuror, ranger, mage in the second row(second row are all int). I found I don't like active skill very much, because most of them seems useless. I only take Execute and Inspire for warrior. His is mainly on sword/shield mode and focusing for tanking. Since his weapon is always weak, so I never expect him do more damage by other skills then instant kill from Execute. All the rest skill I picked Armor Proficiency. Ranger has potential to be a damage dealer but I use her as a healer, and of course she needs to heal herself, so I choose Vitality and none of anything else. I like those wait and regain method for every battle, when fight is end you'll always have full HP/MP. I wrote too much. ~_~

I am still new in this game but I don't think Cleric is needed, here is my reason: his heal is not as good as ranger's Nature's Balm with heavily invest int. It heals EVERY TURNS which means a ranger with 100 mp in the start can heal whole team in the right next 4 turns and all the rest rounds. his Revive is never as good as Conjuror's Call Soul. Revived back with low HP and die again is never a good idea. Why do anyone needs this terrible healer? and I think he is neither a good tank or damage dealer. I still don't find any good when I have a cleric. Anyone has idea why we need a Cleric in the team?

Frostguard, this is impossible... here is the list where monster can 1 hit ko : orc axe thrower(past lvl100), almost all deep creature back row(not poison drake, about lvl 150), protector(lvl 200), minotaur(lvl 150, normal att. lvl 200, any att can 1 hit ko...). Of course, maybe ur quickness allow u to kill 1st and they has no chance of hitting u, try to let them hit u(don do it...).

can somone please help me i just got a journeymans stone and i dont know if i should use it yet im lvl 44 and i want to know a good level to use it or is the dreadfather always the same lvl as you?

so, whats every1's opinion on the best parties for the campaign modes? Right now, i'm trying a warrior, a cleric, and 2 rangers, works pretty well, because at end of every battle, i leave a weak enemy, cast natures balm on every1 and get max hp/power
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Yes, Zerix. But there is no fight when my HP is 90 and enemy damage is 100. Anyways, barbarian's intimidate (however I use it very rarely) and rogue's elusiveness will make the attacks hit the warrior, what hasn't much higher HP but around 60 % damage resistance (armor proficiency, if not even more - my record is about 80-90 %...)

There IS an awesome bow: Foe-piercer.
Entlee: Yes, I agree - different people, different playstyles. Sorry if I said something offensive, I didn't want to - I just don't understand that why did almost everyone say thet Cleric is essential if I could do very easily without it. However, I am now on level 120, but damage reduction reduces level by level if you don't change armour, so overall it remains around 10 %. And no monster could do any one hit kills if its target's HP was full. Even minotaur couldn't.

Sonuva.... Level 39 : / Cleric, Warrior, and Conjuror taken down on the -same- round. Ranger had less than 50% hp left ><
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Hmm, so lengend lure make it easy... But i have play no shop. Watever, i just have my playstyle and you too. @dish, true enough, you can do that, but it is still possible you cant kill them in one turn. Frostguard, what lvl u r? Maybe ur 4 rogue has over 20% dmg reduction. But in normalmode, that orc axe thrower can 1 hit ko my ranger(7% dmg reduction) Minotaur normal att can 1 hit ko too.

by the way, don't try putting things from prequels into sequels, it really kinda messes stuff up. I accidentally did that with fuedalism and fuedalism II, it was very interesting.

The link for the site that explains how to do it on windows, vista, and macs, is http://www.lineridershare.com/faq.php It explains how in the 1st question.

You're going to need to paste the save into the EXACT SAME folder that it came from. Then refresh or re-open the monsters den game if its currently up. The save should be there. (If the slot you need to copy to is in use, then i think it MIGHT work to change the number of the 4 things you are copying all to a slot that IS available, i haven't tried that though, but if you need to, go ahead and try it, otherwise you're going to have to chose whether or not to replace the save that is in that slot.)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
obeliskos, i actually know how to do that, cuz im smart like that. ok, so pretty much ur gonna want to go to where you save the files at. On Vista (it's real similar on windows, but mac im not sure, i know a site that explains all of them, i used it to transfer line rider saves)its C:\Users\whatever user you are\AppData\Roaming\Macromedia\Flash Player\#SharedObjects\some random characters\chat.kongregate.com...then you are going to look for where it is saved. For me, its \gamez\0001\0531\live\monstersdend.swf...not sure if its same for every1 for this game. When you open the "live" folder, there will be a few things in there. One is interface.sol, the others will be slot1, 2, or 3.sol. chars, dungeon, inventory, party The things you need to copy are the 4 things applying to the save slot that the party you want to copy is in. What you need to do with those saves is either to e-mail it to yourself, or use a flash drive, etc. to transfer them to the other computer.

The items that have a 'made by' tag were the winners of a an item creation contest I ran on my site leading up to the release of the game.

I agree with entlee; you'll want endurance for the tanks, no matter how fast you can kill something, if you have full damage/quickness, what if something DOES one hit k.o. you? (ie. corruptor images)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
So anyone know what the deal is with the dragon scale mystical breastplate -- It seems like an easter egg. It's a heavy armor useable by Rogues and Barbarians. and at the bottom left of the description it says in gray "made by jciv" almost like a WOW thing
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Entlee: Yes, I still don't spend (waste) any points to endurance, there is no creature what could kill you in one hit (including legendaries). And what sense is in spending points to endurance to withstand damage, when you can spend points on strength/dexterity to avoid damage. And any boss groups will die in one round: rogue sap strength/sneak attack to boss, ranger rain of arrows, barbarian whirlwind to front middle monster and warrior cleave to back row kills anything, even a boss group. I've experienced this quite many times. Especially, when you kill legendaries on every level (I'm used to doung this with legendary lures, emporium badge), and you've foe-piercer, serpentine band, hydra tooth and minotaur axe at the same time (no luck needed, use emporium badge and legendary lure all levels and soon you will be able to do this.

Have you guys tried it with single class? I like to play it with 4 rangers. Some of the classes don't work alone very well at all, but some are very good.
