The "Temporary Becomes Permanent" alters give you 1-2 potions that permanently increase two of one character's stats by 5 points.
The red potion will permanently increase your character's strength and endurance by 5 points while the blue potion permanently increases your dexterity and intelligence by 5 points

If you are having a problem with the lvl 10 boss, when he shadowforms your party, keep the back row ones alive and he doesn't summon more, at least for me he didnt....

The unbeatable party on any quest/campaign mode is four rouges. Using 'hide' skill for them all at the same time is really powerful.
I love this game.... 5/5.

to beat the campaign (well, the one with "quest") you need to do 120 quest...took me a month to get, i was lvl 300 lol i was keeping a count on how many quest i did, i know theres another way, and i WILL figure it out...

ok what is the best way to fight the boss , I have tried to take him out and he keeps conjuring shadow forms of my party..thats what killed me

My main party is:
[none] [rouge] [warrior]
[none] [conjuror] [cleric]
All characters dorkishly named after me or my friends.

Barbarian is the best to make legend weak, 30%dmg reduce is something not even blind can give you(not hydra though). He make gorgan almost useless when you have ranger with him

Against legendaries especially, I found that blinding them makes the fight easy. You need special equips to blind enough for it to matter, though.

@Tulho: I did use that team, but now I'm switching my mage out for a rogue, it works well too.
@BasiliskKnight: That's normal, there's a chance every time you fight the "united front" or whatever (which is every 9 levels). I don't believe you'll ever fight the Dreadfather if you started with the den of corruption, though. I could be wrong about that.

It would be way to easy if your mp increased. I agree that health regen is the most important, but 135 health regen with max hp of 415 + damage reduction of 99% pwns.

Best game on Kongregate, just one thing i think they could do better. It'd be better if your max MP would increase like your max HP does but why not your MP?

I find health regen the most important. 200 HP with 30 regen + Ranger's nature balm(30 regen) you are getting 50 regen each round. When you reduce enemy till one melee or archer left, you can just sit back and regen all your mana before ending each fight. They dont do enough dmg to regen back. Even the legendary Gorgon cant do enough dmg with petrify as you regen enough each round. Works for easy and normal modes.

If you know you are going to die and want to save your score. reloading helps. but not all characters come back with full HP. I dont recommend it, because if you cant prevent char death at full health, you wont be able to do it with injured party.

Deaths are recorded when you reload. You dont get party wipe. if you have only one legendary lure. you can reload to choose the monster you want to fight. If you have more than 1, reloading wastes it.

Actually, sometimes if you refresh the page right before you die in a battle, it will not record any of the deaths, but it does send you right back into the battle.

for some reason, if you exit the browser mid-way through a battle, it records any deaths you acquired in the battle, and immediately puts you back into that battle

clean slate means that for example, on a warrior, you can reset all stat points and put them all in endurance and strength
