lvl 40 on survival mode... I just spent the better part of an hour getting to level 15. I'm sure I COULD get to level 40 but that's a little on the unreasonable side!
gonna try to get the 50k points in a campaign next!

4 warrior?? No offence staypuff but how are you gonna win hydra?? and deep creature spellcaster leader, he ignore your armor, plus wraith, you will have a hard time for it(unless your warrior has 65 quickness and finish them using execute). And like urself said it, after reach some certain lvl, creature can actually 1 hit ko your character(for those who ignore your armor)

A lot of parties that wouldn't last in survival mode turn out to be fantastic in the higher levels -- like a team of 4 warriors for instance.

The value of the classes depends on the scenario as well. This is obvious in the case of survival mode, but as well, the fearsowers in the Den of Terror (which you HAVE to fight on every level in order to win the scenario) make it so that you really need a cleric, since they can disable HP regeneration.

Nearly all character skills work perfectly until enemy hitpoint and damage ratios become so out of proportion that many skills become useless (LVL 300+). Prior to that level range any given team permutation can easily manage victory.

With all due respect SkullUnit peaceinator...there are no such things as "best party". It's all in the tactics you use. Oh, and I'm on level 171 with warrior barbarian rogue and ranger.

best party- warroir(tank) cleric(heals/intstant undead killer) mage(dps conjourer(dps) the cleic keeps the rest of the party alive while everyone else just kicks ass. Mages+conjourers FTW!!!!

for survival i used Warrior (front w/sheild) Cleric conjuror and Ranger, you want the AoE spells and as many perm buffs as you can (it counts as a single battle btw) such as quickness and nature's balm (ranger) buff them up in the 1-3 battles and keep them buffed! other than that its really simple... i made it to 42 (i stopped healing and reviving once i got my badge)

Jersey, your party lack of aoe spell, use mage and ranger, + ur cleric and rogue, i get to lvl 200 with this party at normal mode, and is hardcore. Use ur cleric as meat shield. And let your rogur learn sap str, corruptor will be easy. And you must clear lvl 9 to complete the game, then you will be in endless den, which you can keep going going going...

OH AND I HAVE A WARRIOR, CONJUROR, ROGUE, AND A CLERIC...AND THEY WERE PRETTY BAD ASS TILL THEY ALL DIED ONE TIME AND LOST SOME KEY WEAPONS AND ARMOR I HAD :(

ok im completely stuck on lvl 9..i couldent find the xit..i battles and barely survived almost all the alliance of evil's except for this one cuz i thought it wasnt going to get me ne where new...turns out that was the one i needed to get throught to get to the next stage...and i've lost armor and weapons fighting all te other's....lol...help pls!!

temporary become permanent, not only red potion, it also give you blue potion, which add 5 dex and 5 int to 1 character(only 100% useful to rogue and ranger)

it should give you a red potion (or two). This always gives you a permanent boost in str and end by +5...really nice!

Staypuff, Cosmic Prison ALWAYS works unless the target's stun resistance prevents it. You can see each monster's stun resistance right on the screen. All greenskins have 25% stun resistance, dwarves have 50% (dwarf maniacs 100%), and bosses (including fearsowers) have from 50% to 100%.

Guywithhair, intellect on rogue will increase his skill poison, while ranger will have his posion arrow have more poison and healing skill heal more. Well, cleric will have their heal more powerful, so as any other spell like smite. Skill that stated "any effect will increase with intellect" will benefit from intellect. Just move your mouse over it and you will see.

ok everyone i face has twice as much health as me , oh well my cleric heals every turn that he doesn't smite. He has 34 power regeneration. healing take 25 smite 30

Chandygarcia, as you descend to a new floor, you get a skill point for each of your characters. For each character, go to the window that shows all the skills and press the plus button next to the skill that you want.
Btw, try to build up your characters to focus on one mode of attack.
I have an ranger with 90% blinding.
I have a conjurer with 90% blinding.
I have a cleric with 110% stun and 50% blinding.
I have a warrior that can do over 2400 damage.
All have more speed than any of the enemies in the dungeon.

It was pretty fun watching three back row ranger use their Hail of Arrows with the 30% to attack added bonus from the front line rogue. Only attempt this on Easy mode, however. Poor rogue.

for those who didnt know how to get other skills... just click the skills beside the statictics area... I've been to lvl 45.. and now I have already deleted it.. w using only basic skills... tsktsk..... If only I knew..
