Ok cool my score is fixed thank you Kongregate. This is a high quality awesome little flash game. Yea its totally Diablo with turn based party. Anyway to anyone who thinks this sucks, you just don't like old fasioned turn based dungeon crawlers, don't say it sucks because it's actually pretty balanced and the game flow is excellent. I'm #1 ftw :p

I played the original Monsters Den & loved it...though I did get a bit bored after completing the quest at level 10 & continuing to level up into the 30's. MD2 otoh, is a bit more complicated (took me a 2nd trip to the Store before realizing I could equip by dbl-clicking...I tried dragging & dropping to no avail). But I do like the new classes & abilities, and also being able to travel a path instead of just one space at a time. Kudos!

Why do people still ask this question rather than search back two pages of comments for the answer. The temp becomes permant shrine gives you one of two differant potions. The first potion permantly ups your strength and endurance by 5 points. The second potion ups your Int and Dex instead. On the first few pevels, you will only find the strength potion. Later levels you will find two potions of one type, or one fo each. If you have no spare room in your inventory when you use the shrine, to bad they disapear. Also, the potions will stack like normal potions if you want to hold on to them.

the temp becomes permanent is like something temporary becomes permanent eg. "Temp boost on str for warrior"="Permanent boost on str for warrior"

i try and keep everything balnced with 2 offenive ppl and 2 defensive ppl (healing) with there is no need fo heal the healers have relitlvly powerful attk my cleric can hit a 4414 i belive tht that is very good my ranger is pure ownage

The game was awesome, a little repetitive at times, but still, very addictive and just plain fun to play! For most turn based RPG players out there it could turn into a real addiction T-T Im living proof of that. 5/5 I hope there will be a sequel ;)
Rougue, Mage, Conjuror and Ranger its all it takes to get all the badges easilly XD

I play much more defensively, especially in the endless wave mode. Warrior, rogue, cleric, and conjuror. Make sure the last 2 have revive and call soul respectively and buy all the runed crap you can afford. lasts frikin forever.

i play on 331 with a Barbairan, Cleric, Warrior and mage, with my mages ring of boundless energy which replenishes 100% hp and mana at the end of every round i just made him pure int. and gave him the highest speed and lightning bolt once

Widanak, I disagree. Play again on on 331%, hardcore mode, no power regen, and no store, and see how far that group gets. It is a good group, but it requiers absolutly no thinking. Play on a setting thats an actual challenge.

Warrior- Execute- Ownage
Cleric- Fervor,Revive,Heal All- Ownage
Ranger w/22 Creature Lore- Hunter's Prowess, Hail of Arrows, Pierce- Ownage
Barbarian w/ Brutality all the way up- Charge,Last Stand, and Whirlwind- Ownage...

You definitely need a warrior for hardcore. I'm on lvl 63, and with my crazy armor, i have up to natural 80 % defense so my other biatches can be safe.

With the incredible amount of free healing available throughout the Campaign (I played Den of Corruption), the fastest teams are the ones that output the most damage (4x Rogue was awesome because of the Hide -> Pierce combo)

I think there should be a rare altar that lets you choose one item to put 3 or 4 orbs onto then name it. That would rock. Custom uber weapons! =) Maybe even let other players get the custom weapons as epic drops or something..

reflection really is the best way to play i think (but forget the barbarians get the reflection gear on the rogues!!!)
and be careful with your saves coz my best file got took out some how n i didnt delete it :s

Completed Survival badge.2 Clerics a Warrior and a Barbarian.Fixed it that 1 cleric regenerated 46 power per turn so continuous Healing with a censer.1 Cleric was fixed up with all damage reflection items so a brilliant damage soaker.Warrior was there to soak up damage and deal damage back(reflection items) but also a brilliant backup fighter.Barbarian dealt huge damge and all his items were Soothing so he regenerated like 60 health and had Vampiric stuff(roughly 40 health back per hit).Hope this helps

Just incase you didn't notice, every time you exit, the survival store resets. Buy what you want and then exit, and bam, new stuff.

i dont like how survival is set up, in the store 5 shields are the same! there all thick tower shield,thick tower shield,thick tower,thick tower shield of speed(same thing but speed making it cost more), and thick tower shield of speed AGAIN! there all 395 armor rating, com on man if u make another monsters den(plz do) make it more 1337 ok

oh bestrial pride, you have to have your have points in benediction, gives him a % chance to remove all negatives ona normal heal *the onlyway to remove the accuracy dmg*

pwnt the game. a power team. Warrior *all tanking moves* rogue focus dex *hide, armor ignore attack, poison, thiefs luck, and poison master* cleric iwth 30 focus regen *heal, heal all, blinding light, purify, and annoint* last unit is mage, power drain, lightning storm, mage armor, arcane prison, and flickering flames* my rogue hits over 250 regular at lvl 8, over 500's after a hide. noone stands behind tank *this limits the multi attack enemies use* warrior has over 35 helath regen and 44% dmg reduction *the original campain**
