First this game felt like 4/5 game until I had a serious bug; when i was fighting a legendary monster i quitted the game and when i came next day back and loaded my savefile all my characters were half dead and the legendary monster was at full health! and when the battle begins it kills ALWAYS my ALL characters with aoe skill, there went my lvl 7 hardcore game :S and thats why I rate it 1/5

killerdaniel: when you're done with the main quest, you then enter the Den of Endless Evil. Therein, you're in there until you die (if gameover option was selected) or when you say "I'M BORED!".

bitpik: you find a Scroll of Portal to teleport you ONCE to the Emporium to buy/sell. You won't find any when you select at the start that you don't want to have shops for more percentage of points gaining.

Anyone rating this below a 5 must not like the genre because this game is amazing. If you don't like RPGs then just don't rate it...

i agree the 1st one but you have to look at how the 1h v the 2h works for you if your a barb you want the 2h if your a dps warrior you want the 2h (well the 1h/oh will work well just change some skills up) if your a ranger....umm well idk bow imo (but the 2h for a melee ranger...if thats even worth going)

In survival mode, know that you don't HAVE to keep pressing on to wave after wave...if you have a party which has decent recuperation abilities (cleric, ranger), reduce enemy waves to one opponent, then 'milk' that last opponent until your party is mostly ready for the next wave (max mana, most hp regen, etc.). It's slow and kinda cheesy, though.

Mundane Becomes Extraordinary gives you a purple item,
A Gift of Magic gives you a purple enchantment,
Temporary Becomes Permanent gives you two potions that provide permanent boosts to stats.

If your into D&D or used to play it as a kid than this game can be very addictive. I got on and found myself playing for hours. Cool thing is that they save your characters...pretty cool.

it also helps if you really want to go far in survival to plan your gear out like for each you want 90%-120% stun resist any mage/dex-ranger you want to have at least 130% chance to hit, i prefer 30+mana regen (cept for a warrior who ill be stacking "thick" or +hp regen on)

while i know quickness doesnt mean much, i still liked to "clump" my group up so they each go one after another no matter what the mobs speed was. that also alowed me to kill the last of a wave with the 1st in the group then the 3 can go and down a few in the next wave

ClayMeow your tips all right for the badge, but if you want go further, you need to replace mage with cleric. Because 2 raisers will let you go beyond 100 waves.

One note about survival: Be aware that there is one malady that can only be healed by a cleric's Benediction, and that's the Dwarven Warrior's 50% weakening attack. If you aren't playing with a Cleric that has Benediction, make sure you shut down Warriors before they can hit you with Punishing Blow.

Focus on getting stun resistance and drain health for all your guys. Poison resist isn't necessary because Nature's Balm will grant you 100%. Health regen won't be as important with Nature's balm either, but still good to have, especially on the warrior. Power regen is good, but not that important either because you'll be so dominant after all the buffs that when there's just one enemy left, you can keep passing turns to build up your mana before killing it and moving on to the next wave. Keep the Warrior in the font-middle, and everyone else on the backline. One thing I should note, just as buffs last forever, so will debuffs. In that case, you can try to get one of your guys purposely killed and then just revive and recast all buffs. The only way you should lose in Survival with this group is when you get bored and decide to stop...guaranteed.

The key to SURVIVAL is that anything that says it lasts for a battle, lasts forever. Thus, you want to use guys that give you bonuses. Best group is Warrior/Mage/Ranger/Conjuror. The "bonus" spells you want are as follows: Warrior - Inspire; Mage - Flickering Flames, Arcane Armor; Ranger - Nature's Balm, Swiftness (not as important, because Quickness doesn't mean much in Survival); Conjuror - Eldritch Aegis. For Conjuror, you also want Call Soul, so you can revive, and Wall of Shadows is good to remove curses. Then just stack up on Armor/Weapons as you see fit. Remember, quickness doesn't mean much, so for the Warrior, get the heavy shield. Try to get him high armor and you can bring along Shield Wall.
